I'm giving this series a 10 because I'm a fan of cute stuff and lovable babies takes the cake. I'm not sure if the series was a pro-natal measure to increase the birth rate in Japan, but every episode never failed to bring a smile to my face (and made me wish that I could have a chibi devi too). Ironically, the little devils in this series seem much more obedient and easier to take care of than real human toddlers. Nevertheless, it's just a feel-good anime that you can watch to cheer yourself up after a hard day of work.
Story: Although not much

development, it creatively included several of the parenting issues and nursery activities in the story, each with a 'devilish' twist. For example, being excited over your baby's first word, first step and other 'first's that your precious one has to encounter in life. Typical nursery activities like story-time, nap-time, snack-time, excursions, playing with clay, etc..
Art: Just ADORABLE.
Character :
Out of the three babies, I think Rai-chan has a very interesting personality. Basically, he's not as simple as you think.
I really like Shin's character.
Guys who love and take care of little kids are very attractive, imo.
The relationship between Honoka and Shin is also pretty sweet and you can see that Shin really cares for both Honoka and Mao-chan.
Enjoyment:
I personally enjoyed the series very much because it somehow hits the right chords in my heart. I feel like squeezing something after every episode. Overload of cuteness. Highly recommended if you love little kids and cute stuff.

How to feel really disappointed and disgusted after watching this series: Start watching the series thinking that this is a romance anime/ one of those reverse harems with heart-throbbing dreamy eyed bishounens.
How to enjoy this series even slightly: Start watching the series bearing in mind the low rating, thinking of it as a horror/ psychological/supernatural anime and reading the wiki to get the backstories about the characters so that you can understand the reasons behind their extreme behaviours.
I went in with the latter and it turned out to be quite an interesting story for me. I expected the protagonist to go through trauma
...
(as in most psychological animes) rather than to be loved (as in most romance animes). I'm not into all that sadistic, masochistic stuff, but I felt that the anime made more sense after reading (from the wiki) what each vampire went through in his childhood and the whole big plan that this entire household was in due to their father's decisions.
Actually tbh, the reading the wiki was more enjoyable than watching the anime because the original story itself is quite interesting, the anime just made the vampires seem cold, sadistic and cruel for no good reason at all (when actually they are who they are because of what they've been through).
Sure, there are flashbacks during the anime, but I felt that it still didn't provide enough depth to the characters and did not show the full trauma that they had to go through.
In conclusion, go in with the right expectations of this anime, and you may not be too disappointed with it.

This will be a short review because it is impossible for me to write a long one without including any spoilers.
After watching this movie once through, you will be compelled to watch the movie a second time through a different lens.
The story is really unique and although I can usually predict what happens in most stories, I didn't see that curveball coming.
Enjoyment: A very well-crafted (and imo, coherent) story, an ending that may not sit well with some, interesting characters, pulls at your heartstrings.

Watamote is one of the most unique, down-to-earth, in-your-face anime series that I've ever watched (albeit slightly exaggerated). I don't think you can find another equivalent series anywhere. (If there is, please tell me!) This series can be renamed "Tomoko and her series of unfortunate events". It seems like the whole world is against her in every corner that she turns. In other words, nothing seems to go well, ever. Although I was glad that there seemed to be a glimmer of light for her nearing the end of the series.
Character: The first thing that attracted me to this series (and kept me watching)

was Tomoko. Although my own experiences may not be as dramatic, I found myself relating to her circumstances and empathising with her as she struggled through life. There are times when I hated having to form groups because I felt I never belonged anywhere. There are times when you see your friends developing and progressing at a rapid pace, leaving you behind in the dust. I love the peace of being alone, having my own me-time, but at the same time I worry that I'm wasting my life away and will continue to be forever alone.
Another character that I really liked was Tomoki. Or rather, I really liked the interactions between Tomoko and Tomoki. It's so cute how they look like each other (the eye bags thing must be genetic). I just don't understand why Tomoki never gave his sister any advice as he watched her ruin her own life.
Story: This anime is one of a kind. I appreciated how Tomoko never really escaped from her plight because in reality it's just not that easy. I watched animes in which the female protagonist is plain, unsociable and awkward but a guy loves her for some reason. Because of that she blossoms into something beautiful. That is an enviable case which I really hope would happen in reality, but things don't always work out that way. But I'm glad that Tomoko has one true friend in her life that truly cared for her and stuck with her no matter how weird her friend was. Sometimes we don't need many friends in life, we just need those few authentic gems who we find along our journey. I kind of wish her friend or brother or mother or SOMEBODY just told Tomoko the truth and guided her out of her doldrums. But then again, in a culture of politeness, criticism may not be as easy or natural. It reminded me that sometimes the people who say the cruel, cold, hard truth may really be the kindest of all.
Music: I absolutely love the ending song. Kudos to Izumi Kitta for sounding like the most sloppy, drunk, crazy, messed up, psychotic girl ever. This is one out-of-tune song that's on the top of my songlist. Why? Because Tomoko's character shines from this song.
Overall Enjoyment: I'm not sadistic enough to say I enjoyed seeing Tomoko suffer, but I really liked the comedy behind the show and her very interesting thought process. That also made me realise that sometimes the way we view ourselves and the world around us can be really really wrong and we don't even realise it.
So what exactly makes a person popular? I think the answer was subtly revealed later on in the series. When a person takes her own gaze away from herself and genuinely cares & serves others. People don't care how great you are until they know how much you care.

The idea and setting of this anime was really promising, and then.. everything went downhill.
Story: The story is about a boy who could tell how people really felt inside or could even tell the future by looking at the 'flag' on top of their heads. The story has so much potential for development if they had just focused more on the different flags and given the characters a bit more personality and depth.
I felt that that harem component was a bit overboard, it doesn't take very long for some new random girl to fall in love with the protagonist. But that's not the worst
...
part. It's how the whole school can just watch as Souta-kun gets all the attention like he's the star and the most important person in the world that doesn't seem very natural. Then again, 'flags' are somewhat related to gaming and in a game, you are the star regardless of who you are.
In a nutshell, the way the anime progressed left me seriously confused, let's just say it seemed like they were taking a lot of different themes and mixing it up together into a really interesting concoction of a show trying too hard to end with a good twist.
Character :
The girls were really cute and each had their own personalities. But instead of building upon the existing characters and allowing them to be fleshed out, a new character was added almost every episode. None of the characters were really memorable or unique to me, except for maybe the 'elder'.
Overall:
It's good that it's only a 13 episode anime. I strangely wanted to know the end of the story even though it was getting pretty confusing and even boring after a while. Souta is a pretty good guy with hardly any lewd thoughts or ulterior motives. He just wants his friends to be happy and takes care of them. Guess the only thought I have after watching this show is, "Lucky guy".
