This is my very first review so I thought I'd start with an easy series. Nana is an anime that I think everyone will have mixed emotions about.

If you haven't seen this series yet and just want to know if its worth the watch
Nana doesn't have the feel of your stereotypical anime. Rather it feels like you are watching a late night tv soap opera. Almost all the main characters are adults for a start. truly deserves to be under the genre 'drama'. It seriously never stops. Drama. Drama. Drama.
In my opinion this series has some great writing and character development which is always a plus in my book. However the anime was never finished which kinda leaves you feeling incomplete. Some of you may think "Oh but I can just continue with the manga" which is what I did BUT GUESS WHAT? The manga isn't completed either.
This is a good anime to watch if you like drama. If you prefer 'quieter' series that actually have an ending than maybe give it a miss.

Only read this if you have already seen the series and are looking for someone else's opinion
First impression: I almost dropped the series straight off the bat. It had what I felt was a boring start to it. However it being 40+ episodes I thought to myself "well it must have had some popularity or it wouldn't have lasted that long". I was soon glad that I had toughed it out as it did get better. I didn't like the relationship between shoji and nana though. I kept thinking "I hope they break up".
Overall Impression: They did break up :O but in a way that I found truly disgusting. He cheated. I really hate cheating and almost dropped the series again when this happened. I didn't but I wish I did. This series has more cheating than....I don't know but there is too much cheating!! That isn't what I hate most about this series though. When watching this series you find yourself rooting for certain relationships
I want nana and yasushi to get together
I want nana and nobuo to get together
I want hachi and nobuo to get together
etc.
Than on the off chance your favourite couple gets together :D it is soon ended though cheating death cheating etc. This is so frustrating because the series doesn't just do this once. It does it again and again and again to the point were your just like "IM FREAKING DONE!! SCREW YOU!! QUIT F**KING WITH MY FEELING"
