This series honestly has so much potential. It started out alright like any other isekai anime, but turned out to be a letdown. Despite being a series that is titled around "being reincarnated as a spider in another world", the worst part of the series... is that there isn't enough of THAT.
Half the story is split for the spider protagonist and half of it is spent with another cast of main human characters and they just... aren't interesting. While you can tolerate them initially, as the series goes on, you eventually dread every episode they're on screen and just hoping to go back to
...
spider MC.
Of course, not to mention the production issues with this show... while perfectly fine initially, as the series went on, it just became obvious they were running out of budget and there was just more CGI... janky ones at that. And ironically, that CGI was usually on the human side of the story, so whenever you were experiencing the human story, you had worse art and worse story!
Fundamentally, I feel like this series has a lot of potential and could've been great--the MC is crazy interesting and I think the most interesting part of the series. However, it's unfortunate that she never gets enough screen time, and it goes to show that when you try to make a cast of side characters take up as much screen time as the main character, it just doesn't go well (at least in this case... I've seen stories where it could work).

After watching the movie, I can conclusively say the story was the weakest aspect. The setting itself takes place in a realistically futuristic world and needs little elaboration as many aspects of the world are nonverbally understood and the things needed to be explained usually are (hint, usually). The problems occur when relatively important things are brought up briefly but then never acknowledged or explained. The core story and interaction between leading characters was fine and the plot twist was actually very interesting, as I've never seen such before. But the little nuances and side stories are inconsistent and unresolved, weighing down the story score

to a less than optimal result.
But the art, voice acting, and just environmental effects overall are just phenomenal (as expected from Wit and IG). If you don't like the story, at least it will be stunning to look at and listen to. The OST was nice and suitable but not necessarily exceptional. Overall, the production quality is undeniably the best part of this movie.
Speaking of non-exceptional things though, the cast of characters vary greatly, fluctuating the score of this category. Core characters and even many side characters are distinguishable and impressionable, each with a moderate amount of screen time and importance. But a few certain characters are inconsistent, unexplained, and mysteriously disappearing at the end of the movie, leaving various questions unanswered and more questions than answers. With such poor characters, the score drops SIGNIFICANTLY (as I averaged the good characters, 8, and the bad characters, 3, to get the mediocre score you see now). Don't get it wrong, the main characters are fine. It's just a select few that are terribly written (and I'm sure you will be able to tell who they are at the end of the movie, or else you are too lenient towards bad writing).
Despite small infractions that left relatively devastating impacts, I still enjoyed this modern classic and I believe many of you might too, if you just give it a shot. It is only unfortunate that a few characters nearly drag down the entire score of a movie by nearly two whole points (in the end, it barely rounds up to an 8 but I digress), but objectivity is a thing and it's objectively poor when it comes to story and a few characters.

Story: 8/10
The story was immersing and interesting, bringing up the topic of philosophy and the idea of humans vs nature into play, showing the perspective from both sides and having the audience have a good grasp of the situation before allowing them decide their stance on the situation and whether what occurred justified or not. That being said, it isn't the greatest story of all time either. It was slightly predictable at times and the pacing was a bit off.

Character(s): 7/10
(Spoilers) If it had not been for the ending, it might've been an 8/10; the characters themselves are interesting and all have a unique air to them. But at the same time, we don't know much about them, only what we--as the audience--gathers and inquire. My most irksome point in the story would be that Eboshi (the leader of the fortress) did a complete 180 at the end of the film; at first, she was against the forest, believing she should drive them (the creatures within) away, making space to expand her land so she can achieve her goals. And through all the ordeals and revelations, she doesn't budge and keeps with her mission. But after that certain significant event is resolved, she suddenly decides to leave the forest alone. It's ridiculous.
Enjoyment: 10/10
But regardless of Eboshi's sudden character change or not, the film was overall enjoyable and memorable (especially the creepy face of the Spirit of the Forest). But I'm one that is easily pleased and only noticed the few errors afterword. I only wish I could've seen it subbed.

Story - 6/10
The audience is thrust into a world they hardly know about; only that they can inference that the Earth is destroyed and that she's the only survivor. Not much progress happens aside from one big event and some flashbacks/collages and music.
Art - 8/10
By no means the best looking show, but by darn, it still looks pretty good. The art was very good and animation was nice.
Sound - 8/10
This'll be very subjective, so some will rate it differently. The music really wasn't to my tastes. But it gave a certain, vibrant atmosphere that did fit the situation so I can't really hate on it.

It was a bit repetitive though. The voice actor for the main character, though she had minimal dialogue, the voice choice was very good.
Character - 6/10
There's nothing outstanding about the 2 characters shown in this. The girl doesn't really have any quirky personality traits aside from the fact that she's secretly lonely, and that the dad cared for his daughter. But that's a lot of teens now anyway, so... they were okay. Not bad by any means, but not outstanding.
Enjoyment - 4/10
Though it could've had some emotion, the music put me off, the mail ruined the entire moment and got rid of all the symbolic feelings I had. Not to mention that the dad sent her into space ALONE, then told her to move on in his letter. Move on to what? Jupiter? She's going to be forever alone and you didn't think to build 2 life pods or 1 big one so that you can be with her so she's not alone for the rest of her life? (Not to mention she'd probably just live a lonely life and just die since all the humans probably died due to the satellite), unless humans colonized another planet, or aliens. And how's she surviving without food?
Overall - 6/10
I've been told to watch it and seen it around a bit. I was told it to be life changing and... it wasn't. It was a bit underwhelming, though it had good production value and music. There definitely is some symbolism there but I feel some of that was destroyed by the ending. Give it a try. But know it's not for everyone.

Story: 6/10
For most of the story, they didn't really do anything to advance the plot. Some people might've found the comedy and the episode by episode story to be interesting, but subjectively, it wasn't for me. The only interesting bits were the major plot points at the beginning and ending of the show.
Art: 6/10
Art wasn't anything phenomenal. The color palette was more wide range than usual shows, but the animation was average. Characters and art style are somewhat unique, but not anything too outstanding.
Sound: 6/10
OST, Opening, and Ending were average. The background sounds/music were average as well. Nothing phenomenal, but nothing bad.
Character: 6/10
The

only ones with a somewhat unique personality that made an impression on me was the youngest child and the club president. Everyone else was a bit average and their character tropes have been somewhat used before.
Enjoyment: 4/10
The first and last few episodes were the only ones that entertained me. The other ones were a bit bland due to the content being purely subjective and not to my tastes.
Overall: 5/10
It's a cute show with only 2 major 'arcs' of the story. Aside from that, it's mainly just antics and Slice of Life episodes that barely advance the plot. Other people can find this enjoyable, but this show just wasn't for me.

Story: 4/10
It's only a single OVA that's supposed to tell a message -- a story -- not to mention that it was a Kickstarter, so one can't expect much of a story when coming in. Despite that, it had an interesting concept that, if added upon, could make a great story. But of the content given, it is just a 4 -- decent.
Art (and Animation): 7/10
This is, of course, a Kickstarter so I can't expect much out of it. To be honest, the quality given despite being purely funded was phenomenal. Compared to current anime nowadays, the art is definitely subpar. But it made it

up in animation; the fights (which covered most of the OVA) were wonderfully animated. Since I put animation and art in the same category, I combined the scores and as rated, it is 7 -- good. (Also, the minimal CGI used were decent and acceptable. Not the best, but not bad at all.)
Sound: 8/10
First and foremost, the English voice actors were amazing. Of course they were natural English speakers, but regardless, it is nice to hear true English in an anime. Not accented but true pronounced English. Not to mention the gun shots, ricochets, voice actors... were all wonderful. Very good -- 8.
Character(s): 3/10
Being thrust into a one episode story gives little time to get to know and become attached to a character (or characters). Due to this, I could not grow to like them. They did have their own personalities that could be differentiated from each other... but their character tropes have been used before and with the one episode, they had little time to grow their own uniqueness. 3 -- Poor.
Enjoyment: 8/10
This is very subjective, though, but I personally really enjoyed it. The action was captivating and the concept of the story were intriguing to say the least... Despite all the flaws with the story.
Overall: 6/10
Being a Kickstarter 1 OVA series, it had little time to introduce the audience to the characters and story. But it did bring an interesting concept to the table as well as surprisingly phenomenal production value. Though some might not have enjoyed the action the covered most of the episode, I certainly did.

Story:
The story won't be anything new; it's your typical powerful main character surrounded by other women that fight alongside him. Unfortunately, it also doesn't have a new thing that stands out that would cause one to desire to watch the series, unless you're into that certain trope. The story was predictable if you've seen anime similar to this. The ending of the anime was a bit sudden as well and it didn't give the audience much time to realize that it ended. The "final boss" of the series was also kinda lackluster, in my opinion.

for the characters were quite nice on the eyes and if CGI was used, it was hardly noticeable. I especially like the character designs.
Character:
The characters were alright; they follow many of the trope that are already present and aren't too memorable. The main character mainly remained flat in terms of character development throughout the series until near the end. Near the end, he did undergo a slight bit of development, but aside from that, the characters of the series hardly change. But despite that, they weren't bad characters you couldn't stand. Nor were they outstanding, though.
Enjoyment:
I personally did not enjoy it, because the concept has been done many times before. If you like anime similar to this, you'll probably like it and get a kick out of it. But I personally did not like it.
Overall:
The concept has been done before and nothing too new can be seen in this series. The series had nice art, character designs, and production overall. But in terms of plot, character development, originality and such, this series is passable and forgettable.
