I cannot stress enough how phenomenal this movie was. This series couldn't even disappoint after the endless eight, and if you were patient (or stupid) enough to sit through and watch them all like me then it will have all been worth it. Because I watched this with a friend, a lot of things were pointed out to me that I would've missed relating to the series. Many things come back around and a lot of mind f*cking. The biggest thing that I liked about this movie is that it took it's time setting things up. The little pauses that created a better atmosphere ... of realism was amazing at helping the person watching become totally immersed.

Favorite Character: Nagato Yuki
Nagato is literally one of the most badass characters I've ever seen in an anime, there's literally nothing I dislike about her. I'm incredibly happy that she got a lot of screen time in this movie.

If you thought that Soul Eater was good then you've come to the wrong place. I would be lying if I said I wasn't happy when I found out that another edition to Soul Eater was a thing, I just never would have expected it to be so disappointing. The title you would think is just another weird anime title, but it actually forewarns the viewer what they're in for. The whole plot was total garbage that could've been executed much better. There was a lot more room for character development other than these three idiots. Literally the only reason I finished watching this ... was because of how much I liked Soul Eater, and it's unfortunate that the OG characters had to even be put in this garbage fire of fan service.

Favorite Character: Prof. Stein
I hated all the new characters just because of spiting this show in general. If you've seen Soul Eater (which I'm assuming you have if you're reading a review for this POS show) then I don't need to explain why I like Stein, you already know.

After seeing the first season of this I could safely say I had high hopes for the continuation of the series to be good, and I wasn't let down. Sure, it might follow some stereotypes like a tournament, but I don't particularly mind these unless done poorly. The tournament arc provided a good way to introduce other characters attending the school that weren't considered the best of the best or suited for being crime fighting heroes. Characters like Uraraka, Todoroki, and Iida benefited from this the most. The scenes in this season were extremely powerful and were very emotional as well. Another thing I ... like a lot about this series are the openings. When the openings change they feature the few characters who will be the most prevalent in the coming episodes. What's more is that the heroes encounter a villain who makes society question it's morals and rally more villains in a fanboy squad all while the students get mentored by other pros.

Favorite Character: Shoto Todoroki
It's very hard for me to choose a favorite character in this series, I really like a lot of them. However Todoroki would have to be my favorite in this season. He has such determination not to become the thing he hates the most, but in doing so he is taught that it doesn't make him his full self. He is extremely intelligent and has a good handle on his powerful quirk making him one of the strongest the series has to offer.

Honorable Mention: Best Jeanist
His personality and his classic anime quirk of strings that are super strong was something I didn't like at first, but came to love when he got more personality.

Another is the first anime I've watched that's straight up focused around horror, not built up for like fight scenes or anything, so I don't think that I'm the best judge for this genre as it's not usually something I watch but again this is just my opinion. Another began in a very eerie setting, a small town that apparently had something up that nobody would discuss in the open. This is good for the genre and gives a good sense of immersion. The sense of dread that unfolds due to the curse placed on the class is done well, it creates panic between ... the character. The characters, however, have very little background given to most of them. Sure, we know a little about what some of them like to do, but that's about it. I have no idea if this was intentional, but I think that the back story of more of the main characters should've been given some light just to give more attachment to them. I think that the random flashes of dolls at the first few episodes were pretty unnecessary, since they don't play part into anything of extreme importance. I also think that the past interaction between Sakakibara and Akazawa with the can was completely unnecessary. Finally, the last episode seemed very scattered. Again, this is another good anime that I think would be better with 24 episodes and left at that rather than 12. I also know some of the characters were introduced only in the anime and not in the novel, such as Makoto.

Favorite Character: Mei Misaki
Though I'm not really given many options, Mei stood out to me because of her horror story personality. I like how she doesn't care about the rain, doesn't like cell phones, and generally doesn't mind people ignoring her for the "greater good". Maybe I just like her because she's like one of the two characters given actual character though.

My Hero Academia was something that initially I had been avoiding to watch mainly because it came across to me that the story would mostly be told in the setting of middle school. This was not the case and I came to regret this when watching it. In my opinion, the story that this anime has is something that I feel is up there with Death Note (though nothing compares to the first half of Death Note I think we can all agree). I felt like My Hero Academia is objectively a good anime as well as a subjectively good anime. This anime is ... something that created such emotion in the scenes that even I, as someone who doesn't really get emotional when watching anything, was beginning to tear up at some parts. The heroes initially I didn't really care much for the amount of characters there were, but I came to change my mind on this as well for the amount of interesting abilities that these characters had. Sure some of them are pretty much rip offs of other super heroes like Sero being a tape version of Spider Man, but I think that for the most part a lot of these abilities were rather interesting. I also think that the design for them all was phenomenal. The humor that this show has I think is just something that you either love or hate, and I don't think it's something for everyone but I personally enjoyed some of the less serious situations.

Favorite Character: Tsuyu Asui
Asui was someone who initially I thought I wouldn't like but again, I came to have a change of heart. Her chill and calm attitude was great, and ability to perform well under stress in her given situations was great. She is able to comfort her classmates as well which is also pretty nice. Finally, her power was something that I wasn't expecting and was actually a lot cooler than it was going to seem.

Erased wasn't a typical anime that I would've given a try at watching, but my friend recommended it to me and I have to say I'm very glad I had given it a chance. At first the story seemed boring to me, just another guy with some powers that he could save people with. Nothing about Satoru stood out at all for me. However when he is sent back in time as his child self things get very interesting. He remembers enough about this time to change the things he thinks is necessary to help those he cares about. Kayo's character I think was ... done very well also, it added a lot to how the story progressed as a whole. Going back and forth between the present and the past initially I wasn't the biggest fan of, but in hindsight it wasn't that bad since they were only going to work with one season. I would've liked to see at least a little more progression of Airi's character though since she was eventually returned to at the end. And finally I think there should've been maybe just one or two more characters in order to make it so that it wasn't painfully obvious that his teacher was going to be the mastermind behind it all.

Favorite Character: Kenya
Kenya was such a good friend to Satoru and the others, it was pretty touching. The kid is a genius and can tell when even the littlest thing is off about how someone is acting. His loyalty is something that is inspiring.

Bleach was the first anime I picked up after having taken about a 3-4 year break from watching anime. The first season was so good, so intriguing, there was something to be had by watching this. Who are these mysterious blade wielding spirits, and what are they doing here fighting monsters that seemingly nobody can see? Well after the first season you pretty much learn everything you need to know about them. The second season is just the first season with different enemies. The bounts were pretty cool, and they still had potential for the series, however after this there was no justification ... in watching this anymore. Having invested so much time into the series already I felt I had to stick around for the art if not the story. Everything just repeats itself and it feels so redundant and just a waste of time.

Favorite Character(s): Byakuya Kuchiki, Yoruichi Shihouin
Byakuya is my favorite purely based on aesthetics, nothing else.
Yoruichi is such a cool character that continues to surprise as a ninja master. Why they are a male cat and a female woman is beyond me and unnecessary, but doesn't take away from the brash character that many respect.

Black Bullet for me was something that started as a decent anime. I thought that I could get past all this loli shit to see the bigger picture. Turns out there really wasn't much of one. The story started out strong, then felt like it got rushed at the end. I have no idea why this isn't labeled as a harem on this site because literally EVERY female character had some weird obsession for Satomi. Personally this took away so much potential from the anime seeing as how half of these admirers are like 10 year old girls. Towards the end there were irrelevant ... characters brought in, and Kisara had just a shitty change of heart that made no sense at all.

Favorite Character: Tina Sprout
While I wasn't a fan of the whole underage girl liking this older guy thing, I did think that when Tina had action she was bad ass.

After having watched the first season and being disappointed, I looked to the second season to see what it had to offer me. I have to admit, I enjoyed this season a hell of a lot more than the initial one. After making it so that about half of the first season didn't happen and replacing it with what actually did, it felt like something had actually been done. The first season felt like there was no clear goal, nothing had been accomplished. However in the second season (despite it's flaws) it had something that had been done. There were a few actions taken ... by characters that didn't make much sense if you're only following the anime, but if you read the manga then you will understand everything in time.

Favorite Character: Shima Renzo
Again I liked Shima in this season as well. He makes a questionable decision by leaving his friend alone in the woods, but comes back not being able to actually leave him behind. Shima was the first one to give up on trying to ignore Rin and gave in to talking to him and realized that he's not such a bad guy after all. He was able to give Rin someone to talk to when he felt lonely, and able to bring everyone back together.

Initially getting ready to watch this anime I thought it would be somewhat similar to Soul Eater. Some sort of creepy (not necessarily Halloween) vibes that would create an atmosphere that I could get into. For me, it did not do this. The characters, the ones used at least, had overall a pretty good design. They all had different things that allowed them to work together and synchronize after coming to an understanding of each other. The other problems I had with this would be the action, the pacing, and overall how things happen. There were so many times where there were some weird episodes ... that had nothing to do with anything that was happening. At the end, it felt like nothing had been accomplished.

Favorite character: Shima Renzo
I liked Shima because he was a laid back guy that could pretty much get along with anyone. While he was also a pervert, he could still be a comforting guy for the other characters to talk to.
