Nisekoi, a story about how Shaft can continually deliver an experience that proves production value is not an issue when you want to deliver something absolutely magnificent.
Well if you're reading this review, you should know what the show is about based off of the official synopsis.
Story: The show doesn't deliver a breath-taking or exhilarating story that'll change your mind about the main theme. That being said, it does what it has set out to do- Be a romantic comedy. It doesn't overstep its bounds or tries to be a uniquely themed romcom. This is where it stands strong enough to appeal to the general audience

with the tease of each girl and the antics that ensue with each singular arc.
Art: What can I say? If you're a Shaft fan or if you've read the original source, you'd know what to expect based off of the original art style that works in tandem with Shaft iconic landmark animation. If anything, this is definitely the strongest part of the show if not the signature Shaft head tilts.
Sound: From packing a load of silly sound effects with each episode to the catchy and very appropriate soundtrack to the unbelievably popular openings done by ClariS who also sang the openings for Madoka Magica, it's no wonder why Nisekoi in the sound department did not disappoint. While it isn't on Kill la Kill or Attack on Titan level of awesome, this anime delivers plenty enough.
Character: Each character has been built with a quite noticeable stereotype. This is probably the weakest part of the show because most characters do not break out of their own shell. The other side of the coin is none of the main characters ever shy away from screen time and the side characters are not one bit forgettable. All around the cast of characters is small enough for the show to concentrate on and not have to worry about who gets the limelight.
Enjoyment: Honestly, this show is one to be watched more than once for its divine comedy. You give Shaft a show like this and they can really execute how the show is done. Between the fan service and the romance, all characters despite their cliche upbringings, bring a level of excitement and seriousness that ultimately balances out.
Overall: Given how well this show has done and the fact that this isn't the perfect show, it delivers on a level that has got me saying- "This is a must watch." Between the fabulous voice acting of all the memorable voice actors and their quirky personality and unique art style that carried the show, it is enough to earn a overall score of 9/10.
