Rating System
My rating system is primarily based on enjoyment and my own opinion. A low rating doesn't necessarily have to mean that it's bad, just that it's not for me. The system is as follows:
10 - My absolute favorites. I wouldn't change anything about them. You can wake me up during all hours of the night to talk about them.
9 - These also belong to my favorites. They are truly amazing, really stand out and achieve what they want to achieve. There are a few tiny things I would've liked to be different though.
8 - It has a lot of great or amazing elements, but there are a few things that keep me from adding them to my favorites.
7 - It has some great elements that makes it stand out, but also some average or bad elements. This makes it good overall, but not amazing.
6 - It's decent and I enjoyed it, but not really special in what it's trying to achieve. I might have a few good memories about them, but that's about it.
5 - The bad elements outweigh the good or average elements. This makes it below average and I'm probably not going to remember much about them.
4 - Mostly bad. I didn't really like it, but I still might have enjoyed it enough to spend my time finishing it.
Below 4 - Terrible and not worth my time. If I somehow finished it, it was only because of extreme boredom and a lack of something better to do with my life
Kitsu
My MAL library might not be completely accurate since I'm mainly using Kitsu. Kitsu automatically exports any changes to my MAL profile, but there could be some factors that cause it to not export updates perfectly.
