To make it simple, I'm just gonna said this anime has a good slice of life and a kinda laid-back story BUT the adventure part, in the end, is kinda messed up.
I just can't believe they just gonna leave the villain just like that without proper justice or punishment for her. In the first place, all characters are kinda useless because no one ever tries to figure out where the spell came from and just does nothing except shout names and just wait during the fight.
In the end, they didn't even care to find out who was the villain or the one responsible
...

Well, I'll be honest nothing personal but this anime had given me high hope at the beginning in Ep 1 and 2 but as I go through I'm starting to lose all my excitement. The characters' development is bad and I starting to feel bored.
At first, I thought they gonna focus on Haruna because the OP and ED show like she is the main character but as the story started to go to other groups, all things started to feel messed up. This is what happened when you make all 16 of them the main characters. You gonna start to lose focus on the character ...

If you haven't watched other Love Live series yet, I recommend starting from the first series (Love Live School Idol Project).
I will give my honest thought after completing all 12 episodes. Although this series is new and refreshing compared with the previous LL series, LL Superstar is #3 for me based on the character/story and songs. The 1st and 2nd episodes are the only enjoyable for me. The story kinda messes up for me as the episode goes on and some characters make me confused (I have to rewind many times at certain scenes to understand what is going on). The arts and songs ... |
