If you want to smile cheek to cheek for straight 552(+specials and ovas) minutes of extremely cute dragons, cool dragons, funny dragons, erotic dragons having fun and enjoying their peaceful lives with Tohru, the girl who tamed them all, learning how to be a human , learning to understand each other, forming bonds with each other, acknowledge their strengths, weaknesses, their love, their passions, this anime might be the best thing to watch on your free time to forget about your stressful or boring life. The unfortunate thing is you will be sad that it would get over, but hopefully Kyoto animations, whom i respect
...
immensely for their hardwork, will make more and more seasons for this.
man Kyoto animations DID NOT hold back. Have you ever seen peak action scenes in a slice of life? if you say frieren or something else, yeah actually lol u might have. And this one is one of them too. They do not compromise the quality in terms of animation, story, dialogues, songs in any moment and make you appreciate every detail of it. There were moment where i was genuinely blown away by how matured the characters were, and how relatable they were to our modern lives. It really connected with me.
The one thing that creeped me out was this little girl Saikawa who GLAZES AND WORSHIPS Kanna way too much(i kinda understand cuz cmon , Kanna might be the cutest thing you would ever see), but it creeps me out cuz she makes it feel too creepy. Meh, you'll understand when you watch it. And you must. It's therapy

Who cares if it's a waifu bait.Who cares if they didn't end up dating together(cause we got much more than that).Who cares if this does not have "believable" characters. This is an animated romance show which never promised you a believable, grounded story in the first place.Just because it had an artistic concept in the name of cosplaying, doesn't mean this is not a commercial show.
My dress-up darling is one of the best romcom of all time, that was something that became clear. If you're going to read this and think to yourself "if it's the best that means i can expect all sorts of perfection in this
...
anime" ,then you're wrong. Don't expect this show won't have fanservice, don't expect this show will have reality-based characters who you'd think would exist afterall in real world, don't expect this to be going in the direction you wanted it to.Just go in blindly with zero expectations and it will be worth a watch atleast for the enjoyment.
Maybe if i write another 9 paragraphed detailed review on how cliched ,dumbed, pointless, bland, unrealistic or unbelievable (Whatever some people are worried about) this anime is,i guess i can suddenly become someone who's saying the truth. But why? why would you expect so much from a pure romance anime, that too a freaking slice of life anime? coming to that point, there's one more thing i'm really fed up about-
Viewers coming to a slice of life show and holding high expectations. That's just straight-up stupid. If you know what slice of life is,and if you find it boring, then don't watch.Don't give low ratings.Slice of life is a not genre for everyone, especially critics who have a strict rule of not giving any anime above 6/10 ratings, and especially shounen fans.Do i know what slice of life is? maybe not, but one thing's for sure- I know that i shouldn't have high expectations in terms of character arcs and story.
Marin Kitagawa is a pure waifu material, she's a normie who's highly extroverted, while Gojou is an introvert, socially-awkward, dense, hardworking,self-conscious guy who just wants to make Hina dolls just like his grandpa. That's it, that's all their character personalities are all about.Don't expect anything more than that, because there's no need to it.It's fine as it was.
We see additional characters along the way, but then again people complain saying it was unnecessary, it ruined the romantic progress between Marin and Gojou, it made the story cliched- but i don't care. It was needed. You can't carry a romance slice of life anime with just two characters.the Inui sisters, Sajuna and Shinju were necessary. Why? Sajuna faces a tough time expressing her emotions as freely as Marin, and she's jealous. We see how unbelievable Marin's personality is from the perspective of Sajuna. If there's any more to it than this for Sajuna, that would defy what a slice of life means.
I'm fine with how the story ended because i didn't have any sort of expectations that a slice of life shouldn't require, but that doesn't mean i had zero expectations. The minute i finished the first episode i realized the potential of this anime, and it just kept getting better and better. It exceeded my expectations every episode, it was memorable. What matters is that this romcom is a slice of life that's 100% enjoyable as Kaguya-sama,Oregairu,Horimiya,or any other famous romcom for that matter.

It started a little unique, giving a feeling like "these two are born to be together, they are destined", and i thought that was the direction this was gonna go,but till now it seems pretty average romcom.
A couple of cuckoos gives you the nostalgic feeling of old harem romcoms, where the mc stumbles and falls perfectly onto the tsundere, the mc who doesn't care about anything but studying, difference girls with different personalities and hair colours, one of them being rich, one of them being simple, kind and smart, and another one who's been with the mc since he was a kid.
The uninspired story of a guy who wants to earn
...
the first rank and confess to his crush, hence stops caring about his own health, yet somehow is the one always caring enough to win the easy hearts of the girls in the story, filled with blushing moments, comedy that's okay at times but doesn't work at times, tons of loads of coincidences, and a little drama as this is gonna be 24 episodes- which god and the anime director knows how they're gonna pull this story that long without making it boring.I'm guessing they're gonna do the same formula like other harems, making the mc indecisive.
I was really excited when the first episode came out, it gave me so much nostalgia about nisekoi, we never learn, clannad and other harems i've watched. At starting i was enjoying it 95%, felt a little dull for a 5% seeing some cliches and the dialogues.
Now at episode 3, my enjoyment has decreased a little and i'm starting to feel bored. Not because the story is bad,but because of two things:
-I hate mc who is studious and doesn't care even if a hot girl is living in the same house as you alone.
-I hate dialogues which are too artificial and dumbed-down which makes me think as an audience i'm being judged.
I hope, and i really hope i will be able to find myself completing this anime and not dropping along the way, cause it holds a slight little potential of being enjoyable but equally a slight potential on turning out to be something i'd absolutely hate for the troupes and cliches and stupidity. You might wanna leave your brains out just in case.

We are halfway done with the season 2 of Science fell in love,so i tried to prove it, a romcom with a little different approach on romance, filled with cute moments and nerdy conversations,a little maths and physics(yes,it's kinda boring but they try to make it as fun as possible so i enjoyed it really) and good laughs from time to time. It's an average treat for an average romcom lover, but then when it comes to romcoms, average means it's pretty enjoyable.
There is story, there is development(and also a major development in episode 6),yet it's a bit of a slice of life too. They tried to balance it but
...
i'd say it was good try,at the very least.
It gets repetitive,it gets dull at times,it gets too over-the-top with cheesy visuals and lines at times, but it always makes you flustered. One of the sole points of this anime is that there's a 10/10 enjoyment in it.
We also explore romance between another 2 characters this season, there's not much development yet it doesn't feel sidetracked as the characters are very likeable.
The only thing "unique" about this show if someone asked me that would be that the approaches they take on romance, on understanding what it means to love and how does one realize they're in love with someone,is not done with some dumb lines. Eventhough it sounds a little weird, they relate love to science and try to form equations and conditions based on surveys and hormone secretion experiments, etc. Most of the plot revolves around these so called "scientific experiments of love" and they're filled with cute moments. that's all is there to it,to this anime.
Worth a watch if you're under any of these categories:
-you're a romcom fan
-you're out of romcoms
-you want some cute wholesome anime
-you need to do some timepass

Mato Seihei no Slave is my first manga, and i have caught up till now(6 march, 78 chapters)
I wanted my first manga to be a romcom since i'm a romcom enjoyer myself, but damn you're in for some real action if you're gonna start this and i'm glad my first manga turned to be really a good one.
I call this manga: "Action Packed:Both Battlefields and Beds"
Story-9/10
I was wondering why the story gave a professional feeling to it, then later on i realized it was the same Author as Akame ga Kill. The Pacing was great since the beginning, there was no drag to a conclusion,
...
things sped up when it's supposed to, and things slowed down....well it never did. There's always some trouble for the main characters and it takes different forms, and they get a well deserving short breaks in between which is called "rewards" in the story- basically everytime the heroines ride the main character's transformed form, their body are automatically supposed to reward them, which is nothing but fan service peak by doing all ecchi things with him except sex- like, who the f**k thought about this genius idea? yeah, this author.
As we progress we meet various dangerous women, and what makes it funnier is that we only get to so more and more
female characters, literally the mc is the only guy.
Character-8/10
Continuing from before, The only male character is the mc,and around 98% are females ready to give fan service.YET,yet, what's different about Mato Seihei no Slave is that the characters are equally well made to prove that this is not some brainless ecchi manga.Every single character has an unique superpower and personalities; we don't go much deep to make the characterization three dimensional, but atleast they're enjoyable to watch.
What i wish from this manga more is improvising some characters to add more emotional connection with the readers,we see a little characterization from mc and fmc, and then from another girl, but that's it.
art-10/10
i've read some mangas till now after this one, and i think from my experience, this has the exceptional art quality,be it
actions scenes, background details, or fan service moments.Every characters are designed very unique.
This manga will score on two places alone-Enjoyment and action, don't expect some intense drama, deaths or masterpiece-story- but it will be hell one of a ride to read this manga ,worth the binge.9/10

wow.like damn,this is really good.
I can't say anything else than this,like, i'm wordless.
Welcome to the review of the 5th anime i've given 10/10 out of 115 animes i've watched..wait,why are you even here? are you unsure about watching this? are you thinking this is not your type? are you bored? are you hesitating to start an anime,or especially this? well shit,i got a news for ya pal- This is a must-watch for every anime enjoyed out there.People say famous animes like Attack on titan,Naruto,One Piece,Death Note,Stein's gate,Full Metal Alchemist,Sword art online,Tokyo Ghoul,Jujutsu Kaisen etc etc are all must watch animes, but if you ask for
...
a must watch anime that is NOT being watched as much as the famous ones, then Land of the Lustrous is the most underrated masterpiece(not using in vain,i mean it) you must watch.
Story- 9/10
Instead of explaining why i gave that 9 points,it will be much easier to explain why i reduced one. This season ends with a new beginning- meaning the real story doesn't even start until the end, and you will finish the series with extreme amount of curiosity and excitement to what will the answers for your questions. So I wish they could answered a little more of my and many of us questions in the last episode.
Other than that, Land of the Lustrous has the most beautiful, depthful, breathtakingly innovative and fresh, intriguing concept with an enjoyable pace you might have ever seen.Basically this anime was carried by its theme and concept.
Art-10/10
CGI. This is not the normal animation and art, it's full and full CGI so some people might find it uncomfortable.AT THE BEGINNING-but there won't be any problem because as the episodes progresses you will get used to it and take a liking to it. Usage of CGI was an excellent choice since the visuals for this story needed much more animative works.
Sound-9/10
Opening and Ending were very differently sounding melodies, not my type yet it was soothing. I don't have much experience in criticizing sound effects and score, but neither did i notice it properly in this anime- that's how much i was immersed into the story.9 is the least i can give to sound and music.
Character-10/10
Oh boy, this anime will show you what true character development means.I'm not gonna spoil anything.
There were so many characters a.k.a. Gems, some weren't that memorable, but it was nice to see each character's uniqueness shown by it's color and strength and abilities- the ironic thing was that our protagonist, Phos, didn't have any such strength or abilities.he was the youngest and laziest and childish, yet he made us love him.And he becomes even better character as story progresses on.I believe a show is good if it has a good number of likeable characters excluding the protagonist; and Land of the Lustrous gave so many memorable characters that were hilarious to watch, sad to feel their emotions, and hence, likeable.I honestly had characters i liked almost as much as Phos which is a big Win.
Enjoyed it.Now stop reading this crap and got watch it ASAP.

(you can skip to the end if you want eventhough it's not that big,my final summary is at the end, no spoilers)
A story poetically based on the sea, like how the sea is sometimes calm, sometimes stormy,it depicts the emotions of love, sadness, happiness, and everything the characters of A lull in the sea go through. Another multiple interconnected Love triangle, which surprisingly worked well this time.
I want to start off with how beautiful the visuals are.Absolutely,stunning. Hats off to P.A.Works , they went full out with their art and animations, it's a feast for an eye, and almost even worth watching for that alone. 10/10 goes par-to-par with any
...
famous studio like mappa, madhouse, wit, cloverworks etc. This is the first anime i watched from this production studio so maybe i don't know that this studio might be already famous.
Music,scores.10/10.
I loved the cour 1's op AND ed, both were perfect.just perfect. The op was full vibe, and the ed was a melodic masterpiece, atleast to me.The second half music was good too ,but not as good as the former ones. And coming to the score, the details were so enjoyable with both earphones on, from the sea waves, and the sparkling sounds of Ena, to the very small details of cooking a soup. The music never felt out of place, and the ed perfectly matched with every episode when they perfectly end with a suspense or cliffhanger and the melody kicks on.No score felt out of place or hard to listen to.
Characters: 9/10.
nothing new,but there will be so many ships for u to sail and root for:
Now comes the characters. We don't see any new characters since the entire anime is meoldrama. They are middle schoolers, so you can't expect them to be extremely sharp about their emotions- the story is about them exploring the feeling of love through the sea afterall. So don't complain why the characters are so dense etc. If you understand this point and watch it, it will be watchable. The thing that amazed me is that there were many instances the characters started to get very relatable- and this is a very normal thing that most drama romance failed to execute well, with the dialogues and such.
Story: 7/10: DRAMA TURNED SLICE OF LIFE.
Now the story. Here is were the execution failed in some aspects. I call this multiple interlinked love triangle as a "love polygon"- there are rare animes that tried this concept and failed miserably ,and i've seen a couple.By far a lull in the sea is the only anime that succeeded in finishing it well for all characters, atleast compared to the other love polygon based romance i've seen. But when you're making a 26 episode, you gotta be an expert at pacing, and a lull in the sea missed my 10/10 score in that point.after 13th episode, it became lengthy and boring. It took me months to finish this (but that doesn't mean it was bad).
The concept of Sea people gave colors to the fantasy genre, and they utilized the fantasy genre visually so well .We come to know more deeper about its history only in the ending episodes. But they perfectly explained the plot and it was all well connected as the anime was coming to the end.I totally loved the story of the Sea god and the Wooden Maiden.Till the end we are confused who will end up with who,so better not sail a single ship.
SUMMARY:
A lull in the sea, even though for its bad pacing and lengthy second half, will leave your heart in relaxation as you finish a visual masterpiece, and i mean it,a visual masterpiece, of this fairy tale of love, life journey, heartbreak, meaning of life, and accepting changes around us. 9/10 worth 100% watch, if you love drama and love triangles.
oh And by the way, i guarantee you the music gonna stick with your heart :))

This anime had a good story with a decent plot twist, average characters, good animations, but the places it lacked a little was world-building and characters- they just kept adding more and more unlimited power access to characters, just when u think there's a limit- in the end it breaks the one rule that was followed since the beginning- even that is defied by our op mc here.
While every character other than him are either dumb jerk, or the Anos's underling/simps/fans,the only exception was his friend,Lay, who was the only character which was given justification and importance after Anos and the twin sisters.Even the twin
...
sisters who had a good start with a good backstory and drama, ended up being useless and just waifus for Anos. They combined and fought together in the end? no, more like they were forced to appear in the climax for few minutes so people wouldn't call them useless.
now that i think more about it,it feels weird...They forced that scene and now i realize the reason i couldn't enjoy most of the parts of this anime: Characters were forced to play their roles, their characters always felt like they was not given free-will,including the mc demon king himself- he's too closed to himself, always sticking to his character, as if he's being forced to be the cool guy with op powers.
Overall anime was worth a watch, but you can't enjoy it if you're not much interested in fantasy world setups.Op and ed i listened it once, then i was boring to hear so i skipped all the other time. I enjoyed the first few episodes and the last few episodes, but in the middle i feel like it lost the intensity- or in better words, i personally lost a bit interest in between.
All hail sigma Anos Voldigoad, the author of sigma rule book. 6.5/10

Skip to end if you can't read all the bullshit i wrote, it's okay
This is pure shoujo romance. For any guys who doesn't like or not interested in shoujo romance, DO NOT WATCH THIS.
Most of the scene was too weird for me to watch, cause seriously, how am i supposed to enjoy a girl thinking to herself "oh god he is so cute,oh look at his nape, look at his neck, when he's close to me my heart beats fast"- I'm not gay either.
Okay you can ask me now- if it's not my type, then why should i watch and give low ratings? i can tell exactly because even apart
...
from the so called "romance" (foreshadowing), the story was ruined, the characters were wasted, and there was no pace in plot moment at all. It was slow, like, dead slow, and picked a sudden pace at episode 9.
Romance: Would i consider this anime has romance? i could say yes to an extent, but the cliffhanger at the end of the anime, almost changed my mind that this anime just has drama. For the most part it's a fan service for girls- our cold-hearted cool Kou saving our main heroine from guys and says "stay away, she's mine" ,or suddenly holds her head and hugs her ,like literally for no reason, it's all cliche troupes, you would enjoy it if you're fine with it.
But Ao haru ride had a great potential for drama,an unique story, and with an actually good backstory for the main character which made me cry, but then all the good stuff happened at the last 4 episodes- and first 8 episodes were gone in minutes.
We see one thing in first half that i forgot to mention- about posing a fake identity so you won't be left alone in your high school life-a good concept to start our main heroine's story, and it was done well.
I was watching 9th episode and i suddenly got this feeling ,like "what just happened for the past 8 episodes?" -nothing happened. That's what i realised.
Art was good, the eyes and face designs was a little different, but i don't want to criticize it.It was nice.
Op and Ed was good, but not worth mentioning. As expected from an average romance anime.
Characters: I loved all the characters except one(which was my personal opinion so i won't involve it), but oh dear god, they wasted every one of them. The only characters who actually were involved in the story or in the anime was the main hero and main heroine-everyone else were wasted.
A whole ass love triangle weren't even showed.why? honestly i don't know, maybe the director was gonna make season 2.Too late for that now? aren't we?
those three characters were just standing from behind and appearing from time to time. The only exception was kou's elder brother, whom i personally liked because he shared his part in the backstory too,but then his love triangle was an unopened book till the last minute. If i talk more about, i will just purely go insane as to why they didn't use the abundant time where they could have started a whole love triangle but then went on to dragging it.
IN SUMMARY:
Blue spring ride, a wholesome and cute anime with a good piece of drama nad lots of potential, was shattered to pieces while introduces 2 love triangles in the beginning and doesn't even care to continue one of them, wastes time in moe scenes and dragging first half, which later on picked pace and gets good, just to leave us into one of them most worst cliffhangers in romance drama story history. You can watch it you're into shoujo romance, and have a 8 episode duration of time to waste or pass time or relax,or sleep, like me.
But hey, who doesn't love our good ol' high school anime? you can have a good stuff of that here.

scum's wish,i'd say it's a perfect title, but i guess it was funny when people named it like "Down bad:the anime". Lol
After the 99 animes i've watched(including the current one's that's almost ended),
i've given 10/10 for 3 animes: Clannad:After story, Rascal does not dream of bunny girl. and jujutsu kaisen. Scum's wish is my 4th anime which has received a 10/10 from me, excluding my appreciation to the sound/music (to be honest) which i will explain later on.
(no spoilers, little foreshadowing)
Here we see yet anothe- no,this is not your typical romance anime. Scum's wish is a melo-drama consisting of a web of characters who are
...
struggle what to do concerning their newly-found emotions such as love, lust, jealousy, and relationships.Hanabi,a normal pretty high school girl, and Mugi,a good looking high school boy are heartbroken when they realize their first love are taken away by each other's first love-the teachers,Narumi and Akane, who recently met and have gotten close.Heartbroken to see this, Hanabi and Mugi coincidently meets and realizes they both are at the same situation and finds a spark between them- a sense of relatablility, sharing the same sadness. Now here's where it defines scum's wish's next true nature after the pure love - lust. Hanabi and Mugi come to a conclusion that ,even if they can't fill their emotional feelings, they can fill their voidness by lust; in simple words, they seek each other's body and imagine them as their crush so they can be together in physcially in their minds-They form a contract, a promise to have a friends-with-benefits relationship until they confess their love to their respective crush. It completely sounds weird, i totally agree, but i guess we shouldn't forget the whole world-building of the anime is the same way- people in this anime are pretty normal when it comes to sexual relationships,so there will be a lot of sex scenes but no actually "censorship-level" nudity. The main story revolves around these characters while we also there's another two people who has a crush on Hanabi and Mugi -one of them being a girl, which interested me since i haven't watched much of girls love and i find it pretty interesting to watch personally.
People say that to watch scum's wish, you need to be mentally prepared as though how messed up and "erotic"/horny the characters are,so that's what i thought too- but i was wrong. The tone of the anime though very serious for most of the times(there were light-hearted parts too) the story and importantly the characters were so interesting to watch that i was totally hooked on and didn't feel it was as sexual and dramatic as i heard. There were moments when i hated the characters, there were moments when i thought "aren't all characters scum and messed up ?" but then i realized- they weren't as bad as people in our world, aren't they? Every character-every character at the beginning has their morals and their views on love and lust and relationships. Yet what makes it interesting is how they realize how different people can become and how sensitive can a relationship be, be it platonic or non-platonic.The good characters become messed up in their minds, driven by jealousy and hatred, while the most hated characters, driven by lust and sex, being to realize what true love is- slowly as flowers bloom, and how a catepillar breaks out from its pupa ,becoming a butterfly and flies, we see the characters struggle for the most parts, being hurt by each other and hurting each other, we see them look back on their pasts when their hearts were innocent and when they believed what was good, and what was bad....they change each other.
Scum's wish is a one-of-a-kind anime which is not for everyone to watch, people say it's just crazy, insane or too horny or too messed up to watch, but they don't realize this is as real as they exist- every characters are similar to the ones around us,in a way or two, either following the bad way or the good way, or struggling to believe which is good and which is bad- and that is the reason this is underrated- it's not something everyone can enjoy, yet it makes you want to watch more.
The story was great, the art was amazingly and to be mentioned very specially as it's not only beautiful,it's also creative they way a dark colour suddenly spreads around, or how they show a heart's door symbolization, or how a rose with thorns are grown around the title if the anime; it's just visually tragical beauty,(there are a lots of wholesome moments too so don't worry), this anime stands tall in its representation of its characters, the main highlight of the show, while the only thing that was averagely-good was the music-it was good, but it couldn't compete with other aspects of the story.
Right now, i don't regret my decision to score this 10/10 , i may in the future, but there's one thing that will never regret- recommending this to you who's reading this. it's 100% worth a watch.
