Do you like over-the-top ridiculous shows? Do you like pretty boys? Do you like gay undertones (or even overtones)? Do you like asking yourself WTF you just watched? If you answered yes to these questions, then you're in luck! Because both 'Samurai Flamenco' and 'Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu LOVE!' contain these things! These shows are both somewhat episodic series that contain an array of characters going out to defeat evil in... unusual ways. The settings are different in that one is basically about power rangers, and the other is about magical boys. Samurai Flamenco also has better characters and story due to it being longer. Both shows are still quite a ride to watch however, and are nice little parodies of their genres.

Akame ga Kill!

Both are fantasy series that feature a young aspiring hero that runs afoul of the government. The protagonists friends seem to take pleasure in their suffering, and are often the cause of it. The two protags also both look alike, use similar weapons that they sheath in the same way. The humor in each show was also very similar, and is the main reason I thought they were similar. However, they do have some major differences. For starters, Senyu is a comedy show, and never gets anywhere near as dark as Akame. Akame also focuses on story and character development way more than Senyu, which has almost none of either. Senyu is also a very short show, with episodes only being about 5 minutes long.
