**This review was written after finishing 90 chapters (Season 1) only.**

As you read from the summary, this is a Humans, or would "Superhumans" be the correct term? Anyways, It's a story of Humans with superpowers vs Monsters. At first it might seem like the typical stuff you see often in the 'Shonen' genre of Manga's. But this is different. It's very well written, the MC is enjoyable and a great character. He is the OP and kind type of character that most of us are familiar with. The side cast is surprisingly deep with the author giving them a lot of panel time and structure. ... At times, you question who the MC of the story really is. The overall world building is great, could be better, but still great. Well executed. 'Superhuman Era' is one of those pieces of fiction where you cant really say a lot about without spoiling so that's that.

Art: 8.5/10 (Some people might find the art weird, especially the facial features, but I personally enjoyed it)

You should definitely give this a try but If you found yourself not enjoying it after reading 10 chapters or so, then you can drop it. Since that was the deciding point for me.

Every once in a while I come across a series that grabs me by the throat and says "Come on kid, we’re going for a ride."

When it comes to the series itself, you’ll find that the hook comes in early, namely the art. Levius features some positively *breathtaking work*. What was particularly striking to me was the level of emotional affect in the facial expressions throughout the volume.

Where the story really demonstrates its strength is the major narrative shift that happens in the 2nd act. While some stories have difficulty re-centering the readers attention on a new “target”, Levius effortlessly ties in the connection to ... the broader story, and uses it as an impetus for Levius to grow as a character. + The pacing is astonishingly good, with very little waste or fluff.

My only critique in terms of pacing comes in the conclusion. After building up the antagonist to be a thoroughly intimidating and frightening force, the formal introduction of the faction known as the “Grand Thirteen” provides a conclusion that’s almost too clean. On the one hand, I can appreciate the revelation that this tier of power is what we can expect in future volumes. On the other hand, it might strike some readers as a bit too much like deus ex machina.

Go forth, give this Manga a spin. You wont regret it.

I really don't even know what or how to start with this one.

Dandadan is probably one of the weirdest yet fascinating Manga's I have ever read. Hands down. It just get weirder the more you read and delve into but weird in a good way. The plot is dope, the art style is fantastic and the characters are very interesting.

The manga's humor is great too. Sometimes I found it hard to take how serious losing one's balls is when they call it his golden ball. However, I do think that's the kind of humor the author was going for.

Overall, please give this one ... a read because you might just find yourself loving it. Definitely a diamond in the rough.

Tower of god is a story about a boy named 25th bam (or Night) and his goal to chase after his friend Rachel who decided to climb the tower. You can get anything you want if you manage to climb to the top of the tower. Even become a god. Hence, the name. That description itself is already more revealing than the one on webtoon and anymore would probably be spoilers.

Story: 10/10
The story itself is massively interesting and, if you are like me, will have you looking to the wiki simply out of curiosity. (I highly recommend you do not visit the wiki until you ... are up to the latest chapter, as it is very easy to accidentally read spoilers. However once you do catch up, you should because apparently there is a fair bit of information revealed through the author's blog and if you are genuinely interested in the story, setting and world building then you will need to read it.) The story is told in a way where we receive about as much info about the world as the mc, where there isn't any random info dump where a character will start rambling on unprompted. Some might not like it since you don't get the answers to your questions right away. Some one else said that it seemed like the author was making stuff up in an as-you-go style, but it doesn't feel that way to me at least. The world of tower of god is so massive and there is so much going. Each floor is basically a world of it's own but it never seems like there is too much going on for it to work together. Idk if this would fit into a setting category but there isn't one so I am just gonna put it here.

I say 9 solely because of the rough art in the earlier chapters. Make no mistake, it gets A LOT better.

Characters: 10/10
Pretty much all the characters make sense and have pretty valid reasons for doing what they are doing. I say pretty much cause there is just 1 that I don't think anyone understands and you'll know who I mean when you start reading. The character development is really something, especially the development for bam. It is really enjoyable to have a character develop so much. He is still the sort of "I must save everyone" Shounen mc but he in every other aspect he develops so so much and he is still developing. He literally changes in the latest chapter.

Lastly, this is the only piece of fiction that I would give a 10/10 other than One Piece. It had me intrigued from the first Chapter till it's latest. I cant express enough how good this Manhwa is.

I could go on for a long while about how much I love this manga, so I'll try to cut it down to a few short paragraphs.

First, there's the story. oh my god is it amazing. The way the plot is written and presented to the reader is as good as it can get, the amazing highpoints in the story are almost unmatched when compared to other Shonen manga and you can tell through the writing just how much time was put into the sagas and how the arcs seamlessly transition into each other.

Secondly, the characters, the way they are written by (G)Oda is absolutely ... astounding, the way the characters converse with one another gives off a real feeling of a group of real friends. Every character not only has their own ideals and dreams, but them joining the crew gives a natural way of them achieving their goals in life and gives a good reason of why they are on the crew. With every character having an arc to show them in the stage light and to give a good idea of their traits and personality.

The shortest thing to comment on, the art. Oda has a very expressive style with his work that gives all of his characters a chance to come to life on the page they are on. Not only that, but the way that the biggest moments are placed over unbelievably detailed double-page spreads that allow his art to tell the story without having to say anything.

Finally, my overall enjoyment. I was reading this on the official Viz app so I was limited to 100 chapters per day, and I wish I wasn't, I would wake up and read until I finished 100, and that wasn't enough. I remember reading through them all and that not being enough, only wanting to see what happens in the next chapter. I enjoyed it so much I began to empathize with the situation the characters were in.

Overall, an easy 10/10 and the best piece of fiction I have ever consumed.

This anime is full of knowledge that most of us may have taken for granted. After finishing this anime, I thought to myself how many of these tools that we have right now can be built from scratch. Probably, not much. This anime explores how much could humanity change if something as big as an apocalyptic event happens. Everything about this show is fantastic. The story is fun and engaging, with a beautiful pace that really makes you appreciate just what we have in the modern world. No character is really wasted, they all serve a role and purpose. While there are a few tropes, ... they are fleshed out to the point you barely notice them.

GTO is one of the if not the King of School comedy shows. The series is broken down into a dozen or so short stories where a student (or several) tries to break him or get him fired. Since he has less shame than the whole school put together, their pranks rarely faze him, however, and he reverses the situation in the process, often turning them into friends with his genuine character and care for them. Mean girls, delinquents, wannabe thugs, and the pretentious, that’s the sort he contends with. This anime is one of the gems of our century. Learn to appreciate amazing shows ... like this one. It's without a doubt a classic and everyone should give it a try. You wont be disappointed.

Samurai Champloo's fusion of martial arts action, traditional Japanese codes of honor and a wonderful hip hop soundtrack makes this a true classic. Its edgy mixture of martial arts combat and hip hop irreverence is quirky, fast-paced, violent and thoroughly entertaining. The plot isn't anything too fancy or layered. It focuses on Fuu and her search for the "samurai who smells of sunflowers" and her two "bodyguards", Mugen and Jin. This is just really a core plot to keep the group moving, the real fun comes with the many wild, crazy adventures they get themselves in while on the trip. The individual stories are so ... creative and interesting, things never get bored. One episodic could be a comedic romp focusing on the early years of baseball, or another could be a heartbreaking and violent tale of betrayal.

Yet another masterpiece from Makoto Shinkai.

By the time Kimi no Na wa reaches its final half-hour or so, the film has moved so far beyond its initial premise that if you think back to the beginning, you'll be astonished by how far it's come. This movie manages to paint an insanely broad stroke of appeal without being convenient or contrive which is no small feat. Working as a highschool romance, escapist fantasy and a multilayered sci fi. It even utilizes cityboy smalltown girl archetypes to it's advantage. It actually starts off rather unimpressively with its seemingly arbitrary freaky-friday premise, lighthearted teen romanticism and arguably sexist ... overtones... but when it begins to find a dramatic stage the story quickly races into suspense as pieces of the puzzle fall into place. As with any Anime romance it clashes not once but twice with substantial melodramatic overtures but it's never a cheap feeling.

This show is what every anime watcher needs...something new. This show is perfect. Mix of new and exciting. Nothing about the show is right out of the textbook which is so refreshing. Overall I enjoyed this first season so much to the twisted plot, original characters and exciting animation and story. 5/5 would recommend to anyone in the suspense and thriller genre!

It's hard to express how well-made this show was without spoilers, but suffice it to say that it's very well-crafted. It hints at truths and then lets them simmer long enough for you to forget, or doubt, even if you noticed ... the clue, so that even reveals you saw coming catch you off-guard. And there were plenty of twists that blindsided me entirely.
