Soul Eater Not! is exactly as the title says. it is NOT Soul Eater. But that isn't to say it is terrible, however I definitely prefer the original story and the original characters.

In this manga, there is a girl named Tsugumi Harudori (Halberd) who has traveled from japan to DMWA "Death Weapon Meister Academy" to become a student there. Sad to say, this isn't focused on the lovable characters from Soul Eater, however we do see the majority of the original characters hanging around the school and most of them interact with Tsugumi in some way for a few brief moments.

The beginning of this ... chapter made me want to fall asleep, to be honest. I wasn't interested in this new character and nothing exciting was standing out to me. But as the chapter progressed it did get more interesting and by the end I was willing to read another chapter. I wasn't "hooked" by some epic event that took place or anything like that, but I am interested to see how things will progress with these new characters.

To put it simply, when you're watching this show, it's like you're trippin' on something! Everything is so strange and sometimes difficult to tell what is happening. Someone will be talking and the background will randomly start changing colours. It's very unique in its own way. That's the first thing that I noticed with this anime!

Now, this show is interesting to say the least! After the first episode, I was definitely interested to watch more and find out what was going on. Basically in this show, tons of people are dying and the doctors can't seem to figure out why. And of course, logically, doctors ... will try to find out what is happening and not even think about paranormal or supernatural possibilities, but when you're watching the show, you know that it has something to do with the strange family that has moved into town!

The first few episodes are quite slow, almost like dodging the fact that something supernatural could be happening, but by episode 4, things really pick up and I was very excited to watch more!

The art in this show is a bit difficult to get used to. Especially their hair styles which seem to be sticking in all directions and in strange ways that you would never expect to see! Beside the fact that their hair is crazy, the details in the show are very well done, and like I mentioned, the strange colour changes make things more exciting and creepy in many ways.

Also! This show keeps to the supernatural ways! Vampires are Vampires! The kind that sucks people's blood and won't go into the sunlight kind of Vampires! It's difficult to find old-fashioned vampires these days!

If you're interested in supernatural plots or mysterious horror animes than this show is perfect for you!

I was very excited to watch this show and had been looking forward to the first episode, and it was quite a letdown. That was my opinion of the first episode. And I would say after watching the first episode, I would have given this show a 6.

I felt the same after watching the second episode.
I was feeling quite disapointed with this show, but as the episodes progressed, I came to enjoy the episodes more and now at five episodes I know that it's a show I plan on watching all the way through.

That isn't meant to say that the show magically became interesting and ... the plot twisted to something really epic. It isn't like that at all. If you're looking for an intense and suspensful anime, I don't think this is the right choice for you.

Basically, the show is about a boy named Rikuo, who is a weak kid and happens to have a separate form of a demon that takes over sometimes and kicks ass. After just that one sentence, you can see that this story is not completely original and for the most part follows the same path as hundreds of other shows. Which is why I only give this show an 8. There is nothing that stands out from other anime shows from what I have watched.
I'm not trying to put this show down! Don't get me wrong. It's just not as awesome as other shows I've watched.

8 / 10 in my opinion. It's not incredible, but it's not horrible.

How is this manga NOT on the top ten most popular mangas! Normally with mangas, I have a few negative comments to say about it, such as the character development or the lingering plots that never seem to end, but I have nothing bad to say about Ao no Exorcist. As the summary says, it's a story about demons and exorcists. Except, in this case, the main character, Rin, is both a demon AND an exorcist. And not just any demon, he's the son of satan.

Rin has issues with his powers and keeping himself from being discovered by the other exorcists. The character development ... is what makes this story the most interesting! Even with only a few chapters out so far, you are wanting to read more about how the future will be for these teens that have gotten themselves into possibly more than they thought.

The art I gave a 10, but of course it's personal preference of mine. The art of this manga reminds me a lot of Soul Eater's art, and what I love about it is that you can tell what is going on. With some series, there's too much detail that it's hard to tell who's attacking or who is who! It's not that ANE's art is plain and without action, the fights are well drawn and have just enough detail to see the movements and fights clearly.

Enjoyment for me is clearly a 10, as I mentioned, it has some really awesome fights and although it's not on the genres, this manga does have some comedy in it. It's also not just pointless fighting, there's a great plot with it that keeps you on edge and waiting for the next chapter!

There isn't too much I can say about the actual story without spoiling things in this story. I'll recommended this manga to anyone and everyone! I can only hope that more people will be willing to read this story and enjoy it as much as I have!

Ao no Exorcist is easily on my top 3 favorite mangas!
10/10 without a doubt!!

Much better than the previous movies and in my opinion, better than the show. Unlike the show which has them fighting a new demon every single episode, this movie has a real plot that isn't predictable and you won't get bored of it.

In the beginning we get to see a flashback of Inuyasha when he was born and being protected by his father, a moment that we’ve never actually seen in the show.

Basically the story has Inuyasha taking hold of his father’s old sword called “Sounga” (really a bastard of a sword that only seeks blood and destruction) and the sword possesses him. One of ... the greatest parts in my opinion is that Inuyasha fights so hard against the sword to not hurt the humans or his friends, which really shows his will to protect them.

We know from previous experiences that Inuyasha can be a real jerk sometimes to people in general, but this movie somehow shows a side of Inuyasha that we don’t always see.

Rather than a fight for the jewel shards it becomes a fight between Inuyasha, his brother, and his father’s power. Definitely an action-packed movie that you have to see!

My friend had told me about Girl Got Game a while ago, and i ended up reading that and LOVING it! So, then she also told me about this one, and since it was by the same author, of course I had to check it out! And it is just as amazing and hilarious as Girl Got Game, if not funnier!
I love Shizuru Seino's way of creating characters and somehow managing to keep them realistic but funny at the same time! The artwork is one of the best parts too! Each drawing and their face expressions make me smile every time! ^_^

Really cute, of ... course because its a romance manga, but if you like romance and tons of comedy, this is DEFINATELY one that you should read! I'm so looking forward to the next volume!

My friend recommend this to me, when I first heard the whole story idea, I thought it would suck! But, she forced me to read it, and I'm definately glad she did!

It may not have the giant machine guns and hot chicks with giant boobs that people always seem to love, its really sweet and funny!

The characters are so fun to read more about! For example, I laughed so hard every time Aoi Kyougoku was in the story! He definately made the manga hilarious!

Awesome manga!!!

If you like romance and humor, I definately recommend you read this!
