Kusuriya no Hitorigoto is a delightful and interesting anime series that incorporates drama, history and humor which makes it a must view for any anime lovers. The series is in ancient China and it places the viewers in the imperial court with all its beautiful and complex aspects of politics, power plays and scheming.

Story and Setting: The central character of this story is Maomao, a witty and insightful young druggist who gets tangled within the intricacies of palace scheming. That was quickly sold and purchased as a maid, she manages to cope with that but her understanding and skills in medicine causes heads to turn ... towards her in the palace. The main part of the anime is constructed over relatively small subplots which are to be revealed in twenty four episodes and most of them relate to some romantic and intrigue problems. While the structure is made up of episodes, it has been crafted in such a manner that all the episodes stand alone yet they are woven into a storyline which one is eager to follow. With Season 2 in the works, now just remains to watch whether the city will provide all the fragments to create an extremely epic city on its own or not.

The depiction of the period setting in the anime is astonishing, especially the screen images which portray the supreme empyrean sense of the imperial court. The comprehensiveness of every single item from the buildings to the cloths and culture are certainly amazing.

Characters: 7.5/10
When it comes to characters, Kusuriya no Hitorigoto really stood out. Maomao has a brain that is one of the kind and accompanied by her intelligence, humor, and a no-beating-around-the-bush attitude, which makes her not only different but also a breath of fresh air in the often formulaic world of anime heroines. The supporting cast are also very compelling with characters such as Jinshi, the enigmatic and secretive eunuch, contributing to the story’s depth and intricacy. Every figure is unique and has their own personal truths. Each personal relationship she will have causes a dynamic and engaging narrative.

Pacing: 6.7/10
The pacing of the humor and waltz is done excellent, with the blend of slow-burning mystery and action scenes creating a sense of tension. The set-up of the anime is done leisurely without leaving the viewer behind being truthful to the genre and its characters. It’s effective; the setai no jutsu are indeed the perfect source and there are no superfluous episodes.

The animation quality is amazing, there are no mistakes in the movement, every character has his own personality and the story appears as if it were the real life. The colors which light up the screen and the background details that show every single inch of the scene make the visual appearance to be as magnificent as possible. The animators have captured amazingly the historical setting this taking the storyline on a next level, and all this was with a gentle touch of the artistic flair.

Kusuriya no Hitorigoto is a rather fascinating anime in the current anime industry. The script was prepared with much care, especially the complex characters that were superbly portrayed. However, it is a fact that this is not the fastest series out there, but the depth and quality of the storytelling more than compensate for it.

I am giving it a solid 8.4/10, and I am quite sure that it is worth watching for anybody who is looking for a series that is both intellectual and entertaining at the same time.

Heroine Tarumono! (Heroines Run the Show) Action Romance is an entertaining anime which first impressed me with its really appealing idea and its realisation, skillfully combining the dreams of sports with the glam of the idols’ world. The series focused on a somewhat short-haired, blunt ojou named Hiyori who, in her quest to be the best in athletics, accidentally becomes a manager of the super famous idol group LIP X LIP. She finds the role so dull that she has no intention of caring about idols; however, the economical factor makes her accept this position, thus creating the pretext for some touching, and sometimes, traumatic ... moments in the story.

Heroine Tarumono! Commencez à aspirer en tout cas From the first, boy! Taken in a little complex narrative very well. The most interesting aspect of the maiden love affair, and Hiyori and LIP X LIP, Hiyori overcame this hurdle and added warmth and cohesion to the storytelling pined for her. Early Age Considerable Changes in Personal Life Encounters with Bet TR romances fall into the category of block fencing rather than free fighting. Only the growth of Hiyori is realistically portrayed in the focused transformation.

The plot in the series especially unwinds in the later episodes after 10. Once a happy, even comforting experience, it becomes an irritating string of needless excesses. why is the crazed fangirl who stalks the idols being introduced? supposedly, to raise the dramatic stakes which were probably the intentions of the writers but came off as out of place and poorly couched, poorly placed in the story. This is not only a lazy way to develop the plot but also makes the character appear very different from what was established, which was not the intent.

The last few episodes that contain all these events happen to be the most disappointing for some reason. The whole thing feels more like a checklist and nothing got resolved in a way that provided closure, and even growth for the antagonists. However, in the final portion of the film, the conclusion which was expected is fast-tracked irritatingly. Not only are these crucial plot points unsatisfactorily addressed, but also the earlier drama that was of serious consequence is all brushed off as if it never existed, and this leaves one feeling that some potential was never realized.

What is most aggravating is how both the protagonists and the rest of the cast process that drama. Even sounded this way, the recommendation given—basically that one should look for the reasons that led a person to harass and understand them even against the background of the universal vileness—appears also completely insane, if not misplaced. The very fact that Hiyori goes on and does this makes her appear ridiculous, her character development as portrayed before getting debased, and it makes her acts seem nonsensical and forced.

To conclude, Tarumono! Hito Nari Shoujo enjoys a volatile, endearing, and promising potential only to go without making the closing chapter any sincere. Poorly executed use of melodrama and follow up misuse of certain important plot elements can be blamed for what could have been a well balanced story about career and growth milestones. It is such a great disappointment to see a well intentioned series unfortunately end with such anticlimax.

Oshi no Ko Season 2 continues to be a masterclass in storytelling, elevating an already awesome anime to new heights. The season goes deeper into the complex characters, their motivations and the dark side of the entertainment industry. This season standout in exploration of the characters inner turmoil. We witness the struggles of Aqua and Ruby as they try to cope with the trauma of their past.  

While the pacing might feel slightly slower than the previous season, but you'll later realize that this is deliberate approach to build tension and deepen the characters arcs. The payoff is undeniable when season progresses forward it delivers a ... series of shocking revelations and emotional Moments.

Character Development:
Aqua 
His manipulative and calculating nature is still there but we finally get to see empathy and vulnerability. The weight of his past life and his mother's tragic death continues to haunt him, leading to moments of self-doubt and introspection. Aqua's character development can be seen by his evolving relationship with Kana and Akane.

Kana Arima
Kana’s journey in Season 2 is  of self-discovery and growth in Acting. In the beginning kana is portrayed as a strong willed and independent but her insecurities and vulnerabilities is revealed later in season 1 and also in season 2. Kana's relationship with Aqua becomes a catalyst for her personal development, pushing her to confront her fears and embrace her self.

Akane Kurokawa
Akane in Season 2 especially undergoes a significant character transformation from her Season 1 appearance, evolving from a timid and insecure girl to a confident and assertive young woman. Her relationship with Aqua plays a crucial role in her growth. Akane wants to become the best actress by defeating Kana at her best. You can see Akane and kana’s determination to become a successful actress and their Rivalry with each other for acting as well as Aqua’s affection. She demonstrates resilience in the face of adversity. Her character development is highlighted by her increasing self-awareness and her ability to form deeper connections with others.

Behind-the-Scenes Glimpse:
Oshi no Ko Season 2 offers a glimpse into the relationship between manga creators, scriptwriters, and the production process. the series shows a few challenges of adapting a complex narrative for different mediums and also how this background stuff affects what you see on screen. 

1. Creative Freedom vs. Commercial Viability: The anime subtly hints at the constant balancing act between artistic integrity and commercial success. The characters face pressures to conform to audience expectations while striving to maintain their creative vision.

2. Adaptation Challenges: The series shows the complex process of converting a static medium like manga into a dynamic audiovisual format. The pacing, character development and plot structure are adapted to suit the anime's format. While the things that you have to let go because of time constraints. It highlights the creative decisions involved in such a process.

3. Industry Pressures: This anime shows the pressures faced by creators to meet deadlines, satisfy stakeholders and cope with the demands of a competitive industry. The characters experiences reflect the challenges faced by those working behind the scenes.

While Oshi no Ko doesn't delve deep into the specifics of creative differences or conflicts, it provides a nuanced portrayal of the industry's complexities. The series suggests that the creation of a successful adaptation requires a delicate balance of artistic vision, commercial considerations, and collaborative effort.

Episode 9 delivered a bombshell that I wasn’t expecting. As a seasoned viewer, I’ve seen my fair share of twists. but this revelation genuinely caught me off guard. It’s rare for a series to pull off such well-executed surprises. 
Bits about Ai was emotional enough to make you cry. how much aqua wished that Ai got saved that day. How much he misses her and want to hear her voice just one more time. Trauma of seeing the death of someone you love so much in your hand while life is slipping away and the light in her eyes going out while wishing for different outcome. Aqua manifesting that to tap into his emotions to bring out such a Awesome performance is really heart tearing.

Difference Between Oshi no Ko and Perfect Blue:

in some review here people comparing old movie called perfect blue with this one which shows their own personal immaturity to understand both of the Masterpieces.

While both Oshi no Ko and Perfect Blue delve into the dark side of the entertainment industry. They offer completely different perspectives and approaches.

Perfect Blue is a psychological thriller that follows a former pop idol who transitions into acting. The film makes a deep dive in showing problems related to identity, perception and the blurring fine line between reality and fantasy. The protagonist's descent into madness and paranoia is a central focus.

Key Differences:

1. Genre: Oshi no Ko leans towards drama and thriller while Perfect Blue is a psychological horror.

2. Tone: Oshi no Ko strikes a balance between dark themes and moments of humor while Perfect Blue is predominantly dark and disturbing.

It's important to note that while both films offer unique perspectives in their own respective genres. Oshi no Ko benefits from its modern setting allowing it to explore the challenges influencers has to face on the internet and social media, especially online Hate.

Yet another isekai anime with little twist to make it feel new concept. Personally I like isekai and reincarnation genre so i dont mind.
In anime we follow story of Arc who is reincarnated into game world as his game Avatar. As far as protagonist go arc is very laid back and kind person. He is always up for learning something new about the world he is put in and also makes an efferts to understand other people. And yes i almost forgot to mention but he is skeleton which has big white armour. And he is very OP.
Other main lead is spirit animal ... called Ponta. Which only trusts people with good intentions.
Female lead is Ariane, an elf warrior lady who is on quest to free her brotherin from cluches of Humans who captures other beast races and sell them as slaves.
The journey of arc and ariane and how they get close to each other is nice to see(nothing ground breaking ).

World building : very little info is given about the world as we are learning it along with Arc. It would have been nice if they gave atleast some info.

Story: The story isn’t anything new or groundbreaking. It’s your typical isekai trope, at least for the portion of the light novel that’s adapted. The plot mainly revolves around Arc saving beast people from human nobles. What makes it work is the characters—they’re really enjoyable. The story does get a bit serious when it touches on how humans are mistreating non-human races, which adds some depth.

Animation: animation is top notch. Fluid motions and overall very awesome to look at.

Music: OST's as well as both op and ed are good. Enjoyable to listen to but i doubt anyone will remember it.

All and all this anime is very enjoyable, energetic, warm which doesn't exceeds in any perticular category except Animation. watch when you are eating something and don't want bother with heavy story based stuff like Attack on Titan, MHA etc. I have rewatched it atleat 2-3 times. So thats saying something. I recommend this anime to those who want something laid back. Give it a go just don't expect anything ground breaking or new.
I give it solid 7.5/10 hope it gets second season soon.

it is not as bad as other people are saying it is. sure there are things that could have been improved upon but it is what it is.
personally i liked the MC of this series. surely his trauma could have been explored more by creators but what they have shown is not as bad. and let's face it not every anime or manga going to set ground breaking benchmark when it comes to story line. unlike all other reviewers here, i watched it whole series and didn't find it boring.
Story: it was predictable but enjoyed it anyway because i like this genre and i liked ... MC. story starts with good pace but after the 8th or 9th episode it goes extremely fast and that is the only problem i have with this one. should have taken slow and let character develop more with relationships and stuff. 7/10
Animation: Awesome!! 9/10
sound: VFX and ost's aren't groundbreaking as well. i might even say that it is easily forgettable. 6.5 - 7/10
Character: Character development of MC is what i like about this series. other reviewer only saw that the ugly dude got handsome. but why can't they see the character's traits. as MC he is humble and did not get cocky like many other MC in this genre. trust me I've seen many Anime which is far worst and this is not one of them. just set your bar low and you will enjoy it. other Characters aren't bad as well. 7/10

partly the reason i gave 9/10 to this series is because of all the hate comment on this series but even if i give score solely based on Anime itself it would still score 7/10
