I'll make this review after playing basically all Majikoi games, so f you if you don't agree. First of all... Majikoi VN is a masterpiece imo, it aged really well, and the quality it has can fight the newer ones. it has a great quality in every aspect, so if you enjoyed the characters, you'll love it as well
Story: For all those who say that the anime doesn't really have a plot, well.. they are somewhat right, what they did for this anime, is mesh all the routes into one, just to give you a feel about each character, plus the addition of characters that

appear in the sequel of the original Majikoi VN.
The story for this anime, mostly follows Momoyo route, with some minor changes, and some big ones.
Characters: They portrayed them really well, the personality they have in the anime, is the same as in the VN, so if you liked at least that, you will surely enjoy the VN. I also give my props to the VA's, since their voices suit the characters.
Art: For being an anime based on an old eroge, the animation was really good, as well as the colouring, although sometimes the drawing quality did drop.
Music: Yeah, the music for this anime doesn't hold a candle to the VN, I don't know the reason of why they didn't used tracks from the game. With that said, I don't think it's necessarily bad, it does fit with the anime. Of all things this has, music has to be my least favorite.
Conclusion: It does a good job promoting the VN, it shows a good ammount of the poersonality each girl has, and explains you a bit about the setting. I still think they should have tried harder in making the story a little easier to follow.
If you want to enjoy the series, the best thing to do is reading the VN's, I think they have a really good quality

I'm going to talk about both seasons and just going to tell why I liked this more than the others.
Marvelous, by far the best MMORPG Isekai anime, it makes a waaaay better work talking about the MMORPG life in general, than the others of the kind, and it makes you trully appreciate that kind of genre.
What made this a great anime for me, that others couldn't achieve is:
- Not so much focus on the romance aspect, but a little just to satisfy people like me. (JK I want more Shiroe x Akatsuki)
- There are some dialogues that can really hit you deep, or make you

feel really nosthalgic throughout the story. (Mostly in the second season)
- It's not JUST focused in the MC, it's focused on everyone in the world
- HUGE focus on world building, and it explains you how the world works, what's the HP and MP, etc.
- It has some MMORPG aspects the others don't:
*complex, and long raids, that do seem difficult
*random events happening through the world
*Special raid items that no one else can have
*a lot of classes, and sub-classes
*the feeling you get when you are in a guild or in the middle of a raid
As well as some things that are really cool like hidden skills that aren't
impossible to get or only a selected few can (I'm watching you SAO).
- All the characters are trying to find their place in this new world, growing and thinking about their future, not just the main character, but even the seocndary characters, and NPC's. Every character is relatable, and all of them have their own role and are important to the world development and story in general.
(This is by far the best thing for me).
- THIS IS AN IMPORTANT THING TO NOTE. It's not focused on just fighting and fighting and fighting, just to get out. This is focused on (as I said) adapting to the world so everyone can live happily in it, from Adventurers, to NPC's, and a lot of politic and economic things (mostly in the first season).
- The MC isn't the typical broken character that solo kills everyone, instead he is like a 1000IQ strategist enhancer that can make theimpossible seem possible, whithout power ups got from the ass or anything like that.
This opinions is really biased but it's true for me, the anime is fucking amazing, and I don't think there's an MMORPG or Isekai anime that will beat this one, at least for a long long time.
You can see the one that created this one DID play at least ONE MMORPG in his life

I'm going to talk about the enjoyment mostly. This is the best comedy anime I've seen so far, let's start by this... they are adapting the manga almost perfectly.
I can never get enough of the anime, it has me laughing since the start of the episode until the end of it, the jokes are amazing, the situations that come up as welll, and it's not something you see in every comedy anime. The characters have really good designs, and I don't think I dislike anyone, saying this is a lot for me.

anime, it adds a lot to the comedy and enjoyment factor.
Let's not forget the incredible voice acting, reading the manga is funny, but listening the same things in the manga, with this voice actors, is just hilarious.
For being a comedy anime the story isn't that bad, which is appreciated

I would have liked 3 things in this anime
1) Less retard MC
2) Different ending
3) A continuation with more of the other characters, like Emi, Takeshi and Nagi
Story: For me it was one of the best, it's one of the only anime that made me sad, it was heartbreaking, and the dialogues that they had were so beautiful
Art: I'm not really a fan of that type of art, but it isn't bad, I have to say it looked good when they were playing the piano or violin, I normally hate the use of CGI, but in this anime they nailed it, it doesn't seem like they

were using it at all. I disliked a little Kaori design
Sound: The best thing the anime has, I was never a fan of classic music but I really enjoyed listening song that my parents used to play when I was little, now I like classic music and I can't stop hearing the songs of the anime, it has some great ones.
Evry piece they played on the anime sounded beautiful, you could really feel the music even if you are not a musician.
Characters: The only reason I gave it a 8 was because Arima is one of the most stupid MC's I saw, I hate that kind of MC. Every time that I heard Kaori talking it was heartbreaking, how she acted through the anime is beautiful, although at some moments you could dislike her. I really enjoyed his rivals, Takeshi, her sis and Emi were great. And I would like to have a friend like his, he is so good.
Enjoyment: I enjoyed the music a lot and the story was a feel train, it was hard to watch and continue watching, at some moments I couldn't stand the MC but the rest of the characters made me continue watching it
Overall: The best things the anime has is the story and the music, those are top notch, what I would have loved and made me give it a 10 is: more screen time of the other characters, and the three things I said at first
