This anime hurts me because it was my favourite. The sheer anger that it provokes through the first half of the season was phenomenal, and it is the first time I have had an anime hit me in that way. I was very very invested. And that is why I was so incredibly disappointing when the second half devolved into a generic issekai with a grumpy protag. It's cringe. Yet I sat up every week, praying this episode would bring it all back. It never did. The characters are so one note. As I said, the first half is stellar. so if you can manage
