Dr. Stone is without a doubt one of the best current shōnen, the way it tells its story, its characters, its art, all its scientific inventions.
Story: 9
Its story is simple, Dr. Stone presents us with a post-apocalyptic world, where all there is is fauna and flora. The work presents us with the idea of returning all the science lost in these 3000 years of petrification, and revive all humans. To do this, he insists on showing us how with just sticks and rocks not only fire can be created, but also shelter and protection, and using this as a base, he shows us the

scientific process that things take, and how to create a simple axe can take more than one attempt. In the process we see a linear and logical progress, even though we see that "green light" as something fictitious, we end up describing its origin and seeing it as something reasonable. The ending is fantastic, it will be somewhat cliché, but even so it is still excellent, the work knows what it offers and does not try to be more than what it cannot, and that is a point in its favor.
Art: 10
Boichi is an animal, there is no other way to describe him, every expression, every scene, is simply sublime. The art in this manga is a monstrous thing that I honestly haven't seen anywhere else.
Characters: 9
All, I repeat, ALL the characters contribute something to the story, some more some less, but we all know even a little of how they used to be in their past lives and we see them act according to it. The main character is one of my favorites, because despite having all the scientific knowledge in the world, he knows that he can't do it alone, and he is always looking to recruit new people to progress. Which from my point of view makes the protagonist do what the play needs, and not what is convenient for him.
Enjoyment: 9
This manga is very enjoyable, but I'll be honest there are pages where there is so much text that it seems like a light novel, even so it was never heavy, I always enjoyed all the crazy things they did, from creating vacuum tubes to making ships. There were several tense moments where I was afraid of what could happen to our characters, for example in chapter 194 where we see how everyone was at the mercy of the petrified ray and had to manage to come back to life.
Overall: 9
I consider Dr. Stone one of my favorite manga, it is a work that has fiction, but does not abuse it, it always tries to have a foot on solid ground, even the origin of the petrification, being an "alien", has some coherence, since the possibility of life like this is not discarded. Here everything is possible, and Senku and the others show it to us in great detail.
To finish I want to comment that this is my first review, and that my English is not very good hahaha, I recommend this manga to all those who like learning and how it was the incredible process that leads to the creation of things that today for us are everyday.
