Gin no Saji is a hidden treasure!

It's a deep and brilliant show, that will lead the viewer through farms, lifestocks and everything about them, especially the "everyday" aspect and the economic/moral issues.

You'll "live" with and through the main character, even eggs and pork will taste different after this anime!

So, Gin no Saji isn't a simple slice of life "watch and go", it's an opportunity to enjoy and learn about lives unkown to us, please try to watch it, it deserve an opportunity, even if you aren't in agricolture or economy.

Story and Characters are the power of this show, pay attention to details, ... every sentence and every action are part of the personality of the character.

WARNING: It isn't a recent anime (2011), so the art and the animation are quite outdated, but it's still beautiful, cause it was made properly at time.

Another note: Nowadays newest animes (and games) have usually great songs and sound, trying to gain attention through different openings and catching OST, Gin no Saji hasn't this feature, but for me it's not a big loss in this case, even if I usually love great OST.
