With fantastic art and well-done characters, this manga is uncommonly well-executed. If the synopsis piques your curiosity at all, I would urge you to dive in!
I will start with a disclaimer: if you read the synopsis and immediately clicked away, it probably won't convince you to like it once you read past the cover. Additionally, if you aren't a fan of intimate physical closeness in your love stories you might want to skip this manga (and possibly seek psychological help). That being said, this manga isn't all-pandering-all-the-time when it comes to its particular kinks, it's just as much a sweet teenage love

story.
Given the premise, I was expecting fairly stock, bland characters and a few over-the-top moments of "fan-service". Boy was I wrong! The characters are very endearing, and they interact with each other in meaningful ways. It's not just the same bog-standard "anime" tropes played out once again: characters aren't stupid, and there are no "misunderstandings". While characters start out fairly simple, they tend to grow more complex or reveal deeper parts of themselves whenever an emotional moment presents itself. And if you are ready for a love story that actually goes somewhere, this manga is ready to give it to you! It may be down to the speed at which the manga progresses forcing the characters to grow and develop like actual human beings, but I still applaud Chomoran for never making the series drag.
It's clear that Chomoran is an experienced mangaka, and the visuals show off just how strong their skills are. The character and monster designs are simply inspired. I would be hard-pressed to find a bad page in the whole series. Just read it and see what I mean!
While the plot of the series isn't gripping, that's not really what this manga is all about. It's an interesting premise, but not something that will knock the socks off of a veteran anime/manga fan: this plot was parodied verbatim in an episode of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya nearly 12 years ago! With plot arcs spanning just a few chapters, this manga is briskly paced and provides just enough time to let characters interact without dragging. That's not to say there aren't down-times and intimate moments, though!
If you couldn't tell my now I absolutely enjoyed reading this manga, and I really want more! There are only 11 chapters available as I write this, and this series is criminally underrated. If it ever gets an official translation, I'm buying physical copies. If you have any inclination to read it, this series won't disappoint!
