Since they are already many detailed reviews of this Anime, i will try to hold as short but fair as possible. :)

Don't judge this Anime by its look. I just have to repeat that.
If you like anime with a dark, sinister and kind of depressive atmosphere you could give it a try. But be warned, the art & animation style could be strange for you at the first sight and if you were a sensitive person the high amount of blood, violence and strong language could maybe discomfort you.

The story is well-made and the characters quite interesting. And despite the negative feedback for the animation ... i did like it. The soundtrack together with the opening and ending song and voice cast of the japanese sub is enjoyable at best. And with Satou will get a villian you may will enjoy.

I'm a sucker for horror animes and i did really enjoy this series so much that i re-watch it a second time. But i still don't want to set any spoiler, just watch it by yourself and decide if you like it or not.

Yeah, it is an ecchi/harem anime with an expected amount of fanservice in it. Yes, it's quite weird but also funny and as long as you don't take it too serious you could give it try. To be honest, i was very sceptical at first but it was not so bad as i did expected.

It was the first harem anime i've ever watched AND finished and i am not that familiar with this genre but i will try to write a fair review. It will just show my opinion and i'm fine with it when not everybody agrees with it. ;)

Story:
What could i say about ... the story? Hmm, the plot setting is quite fast told and easy to understand. It's main topic is an student exchange thing wiith monster girls instead of human ones who have all a love interest in the male main character. So far, so good. It's packed with comedy, some weird situations and of course fanservice. Much of it - be warned. XD The story itself has not really a deep or philosophical meaning, but in this case i was fine with it.
It's just all about everyday life with Monster Girls.

Art:
The general art design was clear and nicely done, nothing special but even not bad at all. The series lives from the design of the monster girls, which is obvious because they are the stars of the show ;) The way the animal parts where mixed-up with human attributes was unexpected well-done. Despite being referred as "Monster Girls" the girls didn't look monstrous at all - i would call them pretty or even cute.

Sound:
The background music is average but not very memorable. The opening song was cute, catchy and annoying (in a good way). But hey, i liked it. The ending song was okay even it was not my favourite. The voice cast, especially for the japanese dub was well selected and suited the different characters.

Character:
What to say about the characters? It's maybe the hardest part of this review. Everyone has their own preference when it goes to character setting/development so, i think it's better you decide by yourself if you like the characters or not.
I couldn't say much about the male protagonist, he's seemed to be just a average, normal, nice guy - not the smartest but completely dump. Every girl of the series had their own personality, but i'm not sure if they are stereotypical or not. And if they were that, i'm still okay with it. Yeah, they were all cute and pretty in their own way and i really liked them. But Rachnera was my favorite girl from the cast - maybe because she was the most mature character of the monster girls.

Enjoyment:
Even harem/ecchi anime are still not my favourite stuff, i did really enjoy this show. It was kind of strange at the first moment yes, but it was also kind of cute and funny. I could watch the show without feel like a pervert, it was entertaining and not a waste of time at all.

Overall:
I'm not an expert for anime from this genre, so i can't tell if it was the best or the worst from its kind. But it was quite an interesting and i had a good time with it. And that is it what entertaiment should do - giving you a good time. For me, the concept worked and i regret nothing.

I just have to tip my hat to myold all-time childhood favourite. Yeah, i watched it along with Pokémon and i still love both of this "old" stuff. But when it comes to the anime topic, i love the first Digimon series more. And even as an adult i don't feel ashamed to love this Anime. For me, it's still the best series of the franchise.

The former Reviews already picked up so many reasons why i still like this Anime. It is hard to find something "new" i could write about.

The art style is "simple" old school but very charming. The main style consists of ... watercolor style backgrounds, clear drawn characters and the epic computeranimated digivolve parts.

The songs "Butterfly" and " Braveheart" are still my beloved faves. Together with the instrumental music the soundtrack is near perfect. Oh, and i love the voices of the german and japanese dub.

What can i say about the characters? Nothing bad i guess. My Digimon faves are still Ogremon, Devimon, Etemon and PicoDevimon.

At last, i can say all the good memories i have with this will not fade.


P.S.: *watch at their birthday wishlist* Maybe, i'm 18 years too late for that...but i still want a PicoDevimon~ ^^

Is it a typical shounen anime? Maybe. Does this mean that it's bad? Not really. When i discovered this anime in german TV i was very sceptical at first, but i give it a try and i didn't regret it at all.

Story:
The story plot is not that special for a shounen genre, but easy to understand and follow. A good vs. evil situation spiced up with comedy, school day stuff and some nice fights. Some typical characters - good guys, bads guys, weird guys and girls in skirts... Do we except something else from this kind of series?

Sound:
The soundtrack was very catchy and a feast ... for my ears. I liked most of the musik pieces include the opening songs.

Art:
The art style was nothing surprising, but well made. In my opinion the style of the demons was more interesting than that of the humans.

Character:
The character development could have been a little bit better - especially for the human characters, but i could live with it the way it was. It was okay for the lenght of the series. But to be honest, i enjoyed the demons of this anime the most.

All in all, this anime wasn't a waste of time for me and it made me curious about the manga. Which, i think, is best of this whole thing. :)
