Ore, Twintail ni Narimasu.

Both shows feature girls in specialized battle suits warding off alien invaders. Vividred is more serious, while Twintails is more comedic. Fanservice also seems to be a (significant) part of either show.

In both shows, you can find: - A girl with red hair as lead character, both of whom are very attractive to look at (though with almost entirely opposite builds – Chiyo is small in both regular size and boob size, while Kobeni is taller and quite well-endowed) - A somewhat atypical, even unusual teenage romance (between either the leads or the side characters), the extent of which becomes more clear as the show progresses - A somewhat stoic, even dense male lead (which is mostly played for comedy in either show) - Interesting, funny, even quirky side characters. Also, Doga Kobo is responsible for the animation production in both shows, and those who are familiar with the show's works shouldn't have any problem seeing the (visual) similarities between them. Lastly, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun is more focused on comedy than romance, while Mikakunin de Shinkokei is more romance-focused than comedy-focused (although there are plenty of scenes in the show that can really make you laugh as well).

In both shows, all the girls are very close to each other, to the extent that them being lesbians is pretty much guaranteed (though in KM, it's just strongly implied that they are and never actually confirmed, while in ST, we have at least one genuine lesbian couple). Also, Yuu strikes a close resemblance to Alice, with her blond hair, twintails and high-pitched voice.

The male leads get themselves involved with matters they probably should have left alone, be it time travel or making wishes on cat god statues, and set off to undoing the damage that has been done by their actions. Both are assisted in their quest by a girl they meet by pure chance.

Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko.

In both series, the main characters become aware of an animal of some sort that can grant the characters any wish they want. And the characters don't really seem too concerned with this mysterious wish-granting device at all, until they make one and find out that they get more than they expected. Just as Madoka's story runs deeper than your run-of-the-mill Mahou Shoujo, so does Henneko have a much deeper plot than you'd usually expect from a romantic harem comedy, and the deeper it goes, the more twisted it becomes. Both shows are good for people tired of the cutesy magical girl shows or the usual harem comedies, where nothing really happens. Both stories tell you that you should be careful what you wish for.

In both shows, a group of girls join a club that has no members and much of the humor is based on how the characters interact with each other. Also, the voice actresses for Yuzuko and Yui play Chinatsu and Yui in Yuru Yuri, respectively.

Vividred Operation

A lot of elements in this show seem to be heavily borrowed from the Nanoha universe: - Magical girl/mecha crossover, complete with (fanservice-heavy) transformation scenes; - Main character who wants to be friends with everyone and doesn't take no for an answer; - Antagonist with a cold and distant outer appearance, who seems to be manipulated into doing 'bad' deeds and may not be all that bad; - Main character's sidekick/animal mascot is a ferret.

Hidamari Sketch

Both shows are from Studio SHAFT and directed by Akiyuki Shinbou. The animation style used for both shows is incredibly similar, even though Hidamari Sketch uses a more simplistic art style overall. Also, I noticed that a few characters share similar quirks with characters from Pani Poni Dash! (Miyako reminds me a bit of Himeko and Sae somewhat resenbles Rei).
