Welcome to yet another totally unnuanced review of ReLife!
The first true RomCom I've watched in my anime carreer.

Story: 10/10

Without going into detail, ReLife is a show about someone who failed in life and gets a 'sortoff' second chance to fit into society. As someone who just left highschool (at the time) I thought the story was very relatable. The different plot arcs in the anime are enjoyable and do change the mood in the anime quite heavily. The story overall is well written and doesn't fail to keep you interested.

Art: 10/10

I really liked the artstyle in ReLife, the colours are nice and ... the drawing in general doesn't drop the ball a single time. The drawstyle is a little bit different compared to the manga (I like the way they draw the characters better in the Manga) but it's definitely still a very strong point of the anime.

Sound: 10/10

If you have read my other reviews you know I'm not an expert in sounds so I will keep this short. The voice actors are good, the intro and outro music are good. And the music that guides the story, the soundtrack is also good.

Character: 10/10

The characters are probably THE strong point of this anime. They all have their own destinct personality and traits. The character progression is very noticeable and interesting to follow. While this show revolves around 1 main character it still succeeds in giving enough screentime to the other characters. The backstories are great and all characters are also realistically portrayed. In general very well written/designed characters!

Enjoyment: 10/10

This show really entertains me every time I watch it and it will keep doing so in the future. If you liked the story but thought the series was a bit too short don't hesitate to read the manga, it's still ongoing and is incredibly detailed.

Overall: 10/10

Definitely in my top 5 of best anime's I've seen. I would recommend this anime to everyone who likes a serious anime that still offers quite a lot of laughs. This is still one of the best Romcoms I've ever seen so don't hesitate to give it a shot!

This is my first review but I really wanted to make this show my first one. I started watching this anime because I wanted a small break from studying since it looked interesting. And damn, has it been a ride.
I will now just go through the different points I've given and explain why I did so.

Story: 10/10
The story in Princess Principal is not chronological as it jumps back in time several times to explain how the different characters met and learned how to work together. This can be confusing at times but the series does somewhat help you by giving you the "Case numbers" ... at the start of each episode.
While the episodes (cases) don't necessarily look connected, the anime does have an overarching plotline. This anime is definitely not a Moe SOL like K-on! Like what the artstyle might make you believe.

Art: 10/10
I'm a very big fan of the artstyle. I like the setting, steampunk London, and the generally dark backgrounds. The anime does a great job contrasting the rich parts of London with the poor industrial parts with it's colour schemes. The animation in the action scenes is just great and incredibly fluent. The artists really did a magnificent job. The character design is very nice too, the style does resemble K-on, Sora No Woto and other "cute girl" anime a lot (which in my opinion isn't a bad thing at all)

Sound: 10/10
I'm not a big specialist on the sound department but everything I've heard didn't bother me and the soundtrack is amazing, I'm especially a big fan of the intro, the ending is a complete different style but definitely not bad either.

Character: 10/10
The character backstories are amazing, every girl has her own unique reasons why they are banding together and why they became spies. The character backstories of the characters play a big role in the overarching plotline of the anime, it's just incredibly well-integrated. My personal favourite is "Dorothy", the oldest of the spies, her nature and even her chosen name get explained in her own backstory episode, which each character has. There's nothing much for me to say about this except that I'm speechless about how well they covered this part, totally unexpected. The anime I've seen generally don't do this.

Enjoyment: 10/10
I've been sucked into the story completely, from the first episode I was entirely sold. There's not one single moment at which I felt bored or uninterested, I was almost on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Overall: 10/10
I know this isn't a nuanced opinion at all, but I really enjoy watching this show so much that I can't find anything bad to say about it. I've been recommending this anime to my friends almost non-stop and I will do the same here. If you like spy-shows, steampunk, intrigue, good character development, original anime, or just a show you can sit down for and relax, please do check out this anime. I'm sure you won't regret it!

Welcome to this way to late review, but since GuP was the first anime I've ever watched I wanted to write it anyway. Disclaimer: GuP is also one of my favourite animes so prepare yourself a review that might not be as nuanced as others.

Story: 10/10

The story in Girls und Panzer is quite straightforward although the true plotline that drives the characters is only revealed somewhat over halfway the entire anime. The story is not really why you would watch Girls und Panzer though, as the tankcombat is predominantly why most, including myself, watched the anime in the first place. This doesn't take away that ... Girls und Panzers has a well written script, it has quite a lot of historical references in it that really points to clever writing. Some "easter eggs" are not so easy to find though as I only spotted them in my second or third rewatch.

Art: 10/10

I really like the artstyle for Girls und Panzer. The tanks are all accurately displayed and the character models themselves are nicely drawn. I won't lie that I really like moe character designs. If you dislike the moe artstyle, GuP might not be for you.

Sound: 10/10

The tank sounds sound realistic and the voice overs are very nicely made. The soundtrack is awesome as it uses classical military pieces of a country to play together with the high schools which are based on the said countries. F.e. Pravda Girls High School, the USSR styled highschool, uses Katyusha as their soundtrack while St-Gloriana's Girls High School uses The British Grenadiers.

Characters: 10/10

This show has a lot of characters, A LOT. Oarai, the high school which is the main focus of the anime, has 32 members on it's own. Every single one of these characters has some kind backstory, although some not as much as others. All the other schools have at least 2-3 named characters too, all with their own personality and quirks.
The Main characters are all very likeable and the MC of the MC's, Miho Nishizumi has a very interesting backstory.
I've never felt any characters to be lacking something which results in this excellent score.

Enjoyment: 10/10

I've not felt bored for one second while watching this anime, even after my 4th rewatch I still find it incredibly amusing. Watching it together with friends is also really fun if you can find a friend who is up for it at least!

Overall: 10/10

As I said at the start of this review, it was going to be quite un-nuanced. I really enjoy GuP and I would recommend it to everyone who likes Moe, Tanks and just wants to have a good time while watching an anime. Girls und Panzer is definitely a feel good anime!
