Welcome back and what do you think of AniList? I've been using it more than MAL recently. Speaking of manga, I've only been reading Earl Cain aka God Child, which might be a good shoujo manga series.
Yes, I think stories should be taken into account than manga demographics or genre. Speaking of Pokemon, it's been years since I last played one. I guess the Mega-evolutions or post-R/S/E games don't appeal to the older fans that much. 15 years ago, I was a like a hardcore fan of the franchise and nowadays I'm just easy-going.
The fact that Rose of Versailles got you completely blind-sided or amused is making me want to watch it and I guess it feels like that time I wanted to try some different brand of food so badly.
It's also true that I do like manly anime sometimes, but I think they're very rare and very few characters get to be self-sacrificial, i.e. Shiro Emiya, Gutts or Edward Elric.
It's true that I rarely watch any adaptations based off of shoujo manga or read shoujo manga once in a blue moon. Still, I may check out Rose of Versailles.
Hahah, we did kinda end up in the same boat in that regard, huh? XD ( Though I haven't seen the Higurashi anime either, but I hear it wasn't done so well, so... )
lol I'm generally pretty good at waiting between volumes ( since I buy several different series' at once ), but some cliffhangers are murder! And then there's Vinland saga... It looks like it may be canceled in the US. TT___TT
Now, now, no making 'Haru' jealous! ;P
Well Claymore is complete in Japan, now we just have to wait for it finish in the US. xD Which shouldn't take as long, now, I'd assume... unless they decide to keep that space ( 5-6 months ) between volumes 26 and 27. :/
lol I frequented forums a LOT back when I was younger, so I told my cousin it seemed like something he would like, so before I knew it, he was obsessed... which obviously ended up with me reading it. XD I remember it having a good beginning, stale middle that got good again later on, then had a sucky ending. xD I still like Ryouga, though. lol
Ah, you've started on the 2nd arc? It's one of my favorites from the question arcs. :3 It also has one of my favorite answer arcs. lol You're in for a ride! XD
It sounds great! I wish it would have done better over here, then. :< You can't find the anime anywhere anymore. ._____. I blasted through the 3rd omnibus too quickly and now I'm impatiently awaiting the 4th in April. ;o;
Oh, sorry! I realize I worded that oddly. I meant Claymore only has 2 more volumes. Higurashi is complete. :3 So it's a good time to get into that one, too. XD
Yay! Ranma! :D I read the manga about a decade ago. I wonder if it still holds up. XD
lol I've been meaning to message you for a while now to see how you're doing?
Yes! :D I seriously love the Higurashi manga and I'm always trying to get more people to read it ( recently got one of my friends into it and she loved it. :3 )
Awesome! What a great time to get started on the manga with there only being 2 move volumes to come out in the US before it's finished. :3 ( It was a series that only released 2 volumes a year... it is quite an agonizing wait... )
I've read more of Monster, now! I'm seriously loving this series!

lol Now that's a way to make Tomoko jealous. XD
At least there's not much of a wait left in the US. lol
P-chan~! <3
