Sword Art Online (SAO) I still think is an amazing show. It overhated asf.
SAO was my second anime I watched, I was 11 or 12 (4-5 years ago), when I watched it and it was amazing.
The story was great, character design and animation was good, characters and character development was astonishing.
I even cried a few times in it, a lot techniquly since I've re watched it so many times lmao.
When the moon guild got wiped out, and than Kazuto (Kirito) listens to the moon guild girl's crystal voice messege.
It was sad, and impressive that she had the foresight to know that

Peak! This was my first anime ever. I was 11 or 12 when I first watched it (4 or 5 years ago) and it was actually my big brother that showed me it. He at the time was 19 or so and had always been into anime.
The story is 10/10, character design is amazing for its time, the character development is outstanding as well! I can't think of anything that's wrong with this series. I cried a lot in this series as well, it's been 3 years I think since I last watched it so I don't remember to much or the character's name, ...

Okay, first thing I want to say is that I first watched this when I was 12-13 (4 or so years ago) and when I watched it, I loved it. It was my favorite anime oat for years.
I even re-watched it several times. I loved the plot armor, fan service, and power of friendship. That being said, I recently tried to re watch it because it had been awhile.
