Honestly, I don't understand why this anime is getting so much hate. It's not bad but not a masterpiece. It's something to watch when you have nothing else to watch.

The story itself is pretty bland but not in a bad way. More or less you can pretty much predict what's going to happen but again its not bad. If it had a little more oomph in it it would be pretty good.

The Art style is pretty basic too. But it's not horrible. Like I always say it could be worse. also boobs ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

The characters in my opinion are really likeable ... characters, main chick is kind of bland and annoying but still likeable in a way
(boobs ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ). Main character is a funny perv (like issei from Highschool DxD) and he is hella op (if you like OP MC's this is a anime for you). Finally, all the side characters are very likeable, no issues with them.

Again, this isn't a masterpiece anime, if you have high expectations, don't bother watching it. If you're someone who has nothing to watch and you wanna watch something that has, boobs ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) , strong MC, somewhat decent story then I feel like you will watch it. Gonna read the manga.

Alright seeing how this is all 10's you probably know where this is going. But reason is because as I'm writing this, I still can't get over the fact how good this was. When I first watch the trailers I thought it was gonna be different, but overall it was really badass.

Story 10

Like I said I thought it was gonna be different but to me I really liked the story and how things played out. To me the if the Auguma seems really unrealistic for the size, I can see the nerve gear and other stuff being legitimate, but not the Auguma.

I Also know ... the movie was revolving around Kazuto and Asuna, but I was kind of disappointed when the whole crew wasn't really in the movie that much(Fighting wise)

But the ending was Amazing which gives this a 10 XD

Art 10

Obviously the art was awesome and the screen work. Even though the Auguma is BS the way everything looked was awesome. Wished the Anime looked as good as the movie did.

Sound 10

LiSA's new song Catching the moment didn't really stand out at me at first, but once you start listening to it, it really starts to sound really good. Tbh don't really remember hearing it in the movie. (Lol)

Character 9.5

Obviously you all know the characters, there pretty much the same in the movie. Antagonist's are douchebags (Shocker) Still pretty upset like I said that there wasn't really much action of all the characters.

Enjoyment 10

Even thought the beginning was boring which obviously leads up to the amazing ending, I still really enjoyed it. Still got that feeling when you watch something good you don't know what to watch because you feel like nothings gonna be good as that. (Or is that just me who only gets sensations like that? XD)

Overall as you can tell I loved this movie since its been a while since anything SAO came out.

SEASON 3 IS COMING! :)

I'm not a person to usually write reviews but I have to for this one.

STORY

Okay let me start of by saying that this is probably gonna be a crappy review but here we go.....

Story is the typical, Protagonist get's sent to Fantasy world and whatnot. Thinks they have powers once they get there but they don't. Subaru kind of has power but can't really control it unless he dies. I felt like it was one of those good Fantasy genres and enjoyed it a lot.

The art to me was good. The colors stood out and the animation was really good. Not much else to talk about.

Openings and Ending's fit well with the anime. The OST was good too fit right in with the situations.

Now this is where I get a little agitated.

Character's were good. I felt like they had good development and with his power's making his relationships with the people around him better. Obviously there those characters you can't stand but that happens.

ENJOYMENT

Now this is the part I was waiting to type. My Enjoyment was 11/10 because I couldn't wait to see the new episode every week. They made cliffhangers that made you wanna keep watching and I love stuff like that. (Unless it's the final episode and they leave you with that major cliff hanger) I would watch this 100 times because I wouldn't get bored of it. I highly suggest you watch this amazing anime.
