The main issue I have with this series is that it doesn't make you care about the characters. Sakamoto is, of course, already perfect in everything he does and gets no character development. However, very few of the side characters develop in any meaningful way even though they have room to grow. The only character I really cared about ended up being Hayabusa. Although many of Sakamoto's antics can be entertaining to watch, the gags tend to drag on a little too long and suck the life out of the jokes.
