Well, I figured I'd update this now that I have been on here a bit longer. My name is Rena, I am a full time student and avid anime/manga nut thanks to a friend of mine who got me hooked a couple months back. Not complaining, actually thankful because I really didn't know where I could go to get a better variety of anime/manga... (currently stuck in a very 'closed minded' and boring city).
I also play TOP (tales of pirates) of which I have introduced a couple people from here to. One started a club and those interested please join!
I love to write, mostly poetry at the moment, but have done a few stories and articles as well. Nothing published, but on my website. And I love to have long discussions on most all issues.
Ive been attempting to learn Irish gaelic, but haven't spent much time on it lately and Japanese, but well thats a bit easier from watching anime.

Its an old text based mud game so nothing you would have to devote a whole lot of time too. Although I put a fair amount of time into it today. haha I know text muds sound odd, but I like that it pushes creativity a lot more than you standard mmorpg.Combat is also neat because you can set triggers for reflexes. Like you get poisoned, you can set it up to use an antidote right away.
Oh and I joined the bard guild and as part of my guild advancement, I have to do things other than lvling or group hunting. The guild actually focuses on art like writing, drawing, music, and preforming skits in game. Its kind a neat/different concept so that why I picked the guild.
Ah, I see. I'm working part time as I build my resume to go job hunting this summer for a full time position. I'm trying to be optimistic about it.
Ah I tried dungeons and dragons online for a bit, but I think I'm going to be playing a text based mud instead soon. the mud is awesome because it has guilds aka houses, but it also has cities which are communities as well. Plus classes, races, and a whole good good vs. evil thing. Oh and churches because there are gods as well. It pretty much awesome when you get down to it as far as games go. hehe

On the bright side, I've had lots of free time to do all kinds of things that I like to do like watching anime.

Good luck with Death Note. It was a total letdown for me after ep 27.
