I decided to copy-paste one of my Letterboxd reviews to here cuz why not.
I’ve watched this movie many times, and I keep trying to attack this movie. I keep trying to find an opening in its defense.
But I just can’t. It’s ridiculously solid.
This isn’t just what animation was made for, it’s what movies as a whole were made for.

I've never seen such kino before, what a banger. Wow, so they make anime this good? I wish I had watched this anime first before any other anime. I wish I watched this anime as a child before my first baseball practice. I wish my mom watched this when I was in the womb. When I die I want them to play Idol Saiban's ending theme "Poppy no Kaerimichi" at my funeral, because I want them to remember me not for my life or accomplishments but by when Ai Shindou sings that part that goes "futarikirijimetai keredo, suki yooo."

From studio Trigger comes a very helpful survival guide for the insanely popular and excellent Inferno Cop. It gives extremely thorough explanations on the interesting and well-developed characters in the Inferno Cop universe. It felt like I was taking a class at a university. Finishing the "Fact Files" series left me feeling as if I had graduated from Inferno Cop university.
Story (10/10): There isn't any real story here, but Inferno Cop: Fact Files helps to reinforce Inferno Cop's already enthralling story.
