To be fair, I watched this anime months ago, and am just going of memory, but I can see why people found the anime bad, CG, art, etc. However, I still found it enjoyable, but I am not that picky per say when it comes to ratings. A majority of people already have some bias towards Isekai and Harem tropes, I don't care either way, I don't particularly hate them nor do I particularly look them out. If you hate both of those things, this anime is not for you. The ending points to a second season, which is already in MAL's index.
