Guilty Crown in the first anime I have watched that I wanted to write a review on, so this is my first review don't be too harsh.

~Story~ 8 out of 10
As far as the story goes, it was sightly confusing where they were going with it in the first half but once the second season started coming to a conclusion it became more and more clear. Yes the "random high school student gets a power and tried to help" story has been done millions of times, but the power and the situation give it its own unique flair.


~Art~ 9 out of ... 10
The art had a cinematic quality to it which made watching even more enjoyable, everyone loves a well drawn mecha battle scene. Also the character designs were nice.


~Sound~ 10 out of 10
I am a musical person so when an anime comes along that has such a great soundtrack that I download all the songs I am impressed. One of the show's main characters is an egotist singer, so the show opens with the main male protagonist watching a video of the female singing, while the female plays a part in the rebellion. It was a powerful opening and it caught my attention.


~Character~ 6 out of 10
Personally this is the one place this anime was lacking for me. The female main character was quiet and didn't talk much. While the male was whiny and a little selfish throughout the entire first season. During the second season the two main characters do develop a ton, which goes along with the story line nicely. The supporting characters (besides two or three) didn't have much development which was sad considering how large of a part they all played. At some points it was hard to tell who was a main character and who was supporting.


~Enjoyment~ 9 out of 10
I watched this anime in one day, it was interesting from the start. So, in other words I enjoyed this series a lot. There wasn't much filler and it didn't drag at all. Can't ask for anything more.


~Overall~ 8 out of 10
This series gets a lot of negativity for reason I don't quite understand. I guess people just have too high of expectations. I laughed and cried, and this anime would have gotten a nine if the characters weren't so blah. Overall it was a good one and I would definitely watch it again. (Even though the ending wont surprise me this time)
