I really enjoyed the first half of this series. It seemed like the perfect coming of age story about teenage girls gaining an interest in relationships and sex. The beginning was funny and cute. Sad that it's ruined by angst and stupidity.

The group of friends were very likable (in the beginning) and you can really identify with some of their problems. You could feel the comradery between these girls because they'd help each other through their struggles. I liked that each girl had a different experience with romance and some of their stories were happier than others.

At some point though, the story turns sour ...

I watched this show not only for nostalgia purposes but also curiosity. I remember watching this show many years ago but didn't remember the ending! Although I could remember some incredible moments, l didn't know how it ended. Reason being, it wasn't a memorable ending.

Turns out all those years ago I did finish it. I think it says something that I was still interested in finishing it again anyway. The ending is one of those 'read the manga' types and that's ok. I'm sure we're all used to them. Never the less, I really did have a fun time re-watching this series.

The story full of ...

If you're looking for a great laugh then this is it. I didn't expect this show to be so funny. I think part of my enjoyment had to do with the characters, Hoozuki especially. He's such a straight faced sadist who does some crazy things. The whole cast is very lovable. Just the way they interact with each other is hilarious.

Another thing that I liked were the jokes themselves. There are a lot of references that you get, that you don't have to be Japanese to understand them. There isn't much of a plot which is understandable. The show is basically the everyday life in ...

I finally got around to watching Owari no Seraph, which is a show I sort of knew I was going to like from the beginning. Speaking of the beginning, I love how within the first minute of the show everything turns into chaos. It cuts to the chase and I feel like it keeps a steady pace throughout the series.

What struck me first when I saw the show, was the art. All of the backgrounds were beautifully painted and I feel like that was a nice, unique touch to the show. I think the story is very engaging and the characters are decent. There isn't ...

Haikyuu!! (Anime) add
I had wanted to see Haikyuu for a while and I was so surprised at how much I liked it. I knew I would like it but not the 'I'm going to marathon the entire thing in one night' type of like.

I don't think there was a single character I didn't love. All of them are very well done. It's like you can grasp their personality straight from the beginning and they're all likable, even if some aren't the nicest.

This show was very inspiring. It made me want to play a sport and have a team to rely on. Haikyuu is just really encouraging ...

Kuragehime (Anime) add
From what I've seen and heard of Princess Jellyfish before watching it, it interested me for reasons why it's probably interested you: it's about a shy, nerdy girl dealing with everyday life. (There's also a cute cross dressing boy.)

A lot of people are like that, which makes it relatable. All in all, I really liked the show. Not so much because of the plot or characters because in all honesty they are a little bland and anti-climatic. I really only liked Kuranosuke (the cross dresser) because I felt like he had a more enjoyable personality. All the girls, including Tsukimi, the main protagonist, are so ...
