Okay please don't take things too hard on me guys I'm just trying to help the community with my first review for my personal favorite anime of all time.
With that out of the way the story of Itazura na kiss takes place in the same place as almost any anime japan and the main character Kotoko Aihara shows that she has a huge crush on (cough douchebag) Irie Naoki, and of course Irie is a complete bully to Kotoko by doing things that are plain rude for example the first time Kotoko acknowledges Irie she tries to give him a present but Irie shuts

her down the most cold way possible by saying no I don't want it because your a stupid girl which drove me up a wall but when Kotoko goes to her house with her friends(if you hate them I think that's normal I don't know) there is a small earthquake and due to poor construction the house is destroyed but Kotoko's father has a friend who wants them to stay until they get back on their feet but when they get there Kotoko finds herself thinking what are the chances that her father's friend's son was Irie. The story continues on and you get to watch as Irie becomes less of a douche I guess and how most of the characters get their own story? I don't know but the thing I love about this anime is that it feels like a real relationship that could happen anywhere due to it not being so I'm always going to love you which I know sounds bad but if you think about it when have you EVER seen a couple not fight I mean once I saw a couple have a FIGHT FOR NEVER FIGHTING as ironic as that is. I feel that the character development throughout the plot touched me like never before (pls for the love of god don't turn that into a sick joke). I also enjoyed the fact that it wasn't some weird I'm an alien even though the story would work even if I was a normal girl/boy. The only problems that I had with this anime if you would consider this bad is first Kotoko's friends in high school made me rage and

The doctor nurse cliche at the end pissed me the FUCK off omg just make them a married couple FFS
sigh...
