-Both animes feature a boy (or actually two boys in case of Tiger Mask) compete in a sport, in which his father was also good at. In case of Gundam, Sei's father was the champion of gunpla battle, but in Tiger Mask the father of the two tigers was injured by the man called yellow devil and now they are trying to get revenge on him. -They are both shounen animes, that don't offer basicly anything besides battles of mechs or wrestling matches respectively. -In both cases the protagonists are facing multiple troubles on their way, due to the fact that they are facing an evil organisation, that is trying to get rid of them. -Both are a part of an franchise created a long time ago.
