After watching 6 episodes of this anime I put it on hold for a while becuase it was just weird and crazy to me. Sure there are a lot of bishounens but the caracters were not beliveable and it wasn't even funny, but it seemed everybody else loved it so I decided to give it another go and as it turnes out the series gets a whole lot better after a few episodes. It gets more serious and funnier at the same time. There's more drama, the caracters mature and you get to see their true personalities.
I ended up hoping for a second season.

When I started watching this anime I was under the impression it was going to be romantic, wondering how that was going to work out when Honda Tohru can't even touch the boys without them turning into different animals. There is no romance what so ever though and in a way I was disappointed, beacuse I love reverse harems where the girl ends up with one of the guys in the end, but I still enjoyed it very much.
This anime is funny, cute and sweet. It's all about relationships and the importance of true friends and love. Honda Tohru is is an extraordinary, strong and ...

I was actually disappointed by this anime. I think they could have done so much more with with this story.
The male characters are fine and very good looking, lots of eye-candy here, but the girl they are suposed to turn into a lady is not credible. She's simply a very sick and selfcentered person. She's been through a trauma but her reaccion is exaggerated. It also bothers me that you hardly ever get to see her true form wich is actually very pretty. Having read other reviews I kept watching thinking it would get better but it doesn't. It might be worth seeing just becuase of ... |
