I was appalled when I saw how many hate reviews this anime has. To start off, the main problem everyone has with this is how the guys are abusive toward the protagonist. If any of you even bothered to do a bit of research into this anime before watching it, you would have known what to expect.
Yes, the guys are abusive and sick. Yes, it is disturbing. But it's a very good reality check! In other vampire anime, the vamps are love-sick, sweet, and nice people. VAMPIRES ARE FUCKING BLOOD-SUCKING MONSTERS! They're not supposed to be soft and sweet. I like that about this

Now, moving on.
Story.
Rating: 7/10
The story isn't the most original as far as vampire anime go. With the protagonist 'awakening' and all, that was pretty cliche. But what I liked about it was that the characters were all included in the story line, with their pasts related to the plot. Some of you have said that the story has no plot, but the plot only develops AFTER the characters are properly introduced, unlike some poorly structured stories. Anyway, moving on.
Art.
Rating: 10/10
The art of this anime was probably the reason most of us decided to watch it. The hair gradient is awesome, as well as the unique eyes each of the characters have. The colours are very well done, and the art style is beautiful. Of course, having all the characters being extremely hot helps too. ;3
I think I don't need to explain more, 'cause all of you know how great the art is. So, next.
Sound.
Rating: 8/10
The music. Nice and eerie. It really helped create the atmosphere in this anime. The opening music was stereotypical vampire anime music, but I liked it. Also, the title of the song was called, "Mr Sadistic Night" It really matches the anime well. Again, another clue that you people should have known that it wasn't a sweet and friendly anime >:(
The characters voices sounded very good; they really suited the character they were voicing. Especially Kanato. Nice and creepy.
Character.
Rating: 9/10
The characters had very distinctive personalities (except for Yui). And the best thing about it is that they all had a reason why there personality was like that. With their tragic pasts. The characters were excellently designed, and they are all hot. VERY hot. But, back to the personality thing. This anime shows, through the characters, that what happens in the past can define who you will be in the future. Their separate personalities are due to their traumatising pasts.
Enjoyment.

This anime was very exciting. Don't take that the wrong way. I just found it very gripping and I was left on edge a couple of times, waiting to see what would happen. It's a thriller. That describes it perfectly. I really enjoyed watching it.

This anime is one-of-a-kind. I've never seen one like it. It's a nice reality check, strange as far as harem goes, and the characters are amazing, both in appearance and personality. This anime chilled me to the bone, and disturbed me. Just as it disturbed EVERYONE. But guess what? That's the freaking PURPOSE! It's meant to have impact! And it does! I feel sorry for all the haters who can't recognise a gem of an anime when they see one.
