Haha - I forgot to mention Hange's eccentricities! That's a core component of her character alright, and yeah she does retain her empathy throughout a very difficult set of circumstances. I'm rewatching season 3 at the moment because I've already watched the first two seasons twice. I've only seen season 3 part 2 subbed so when I watch it dubbed it's like a bit of a new experience for me - you're not watching exactly the same thing as before.

Ah, the difficult choice! I remember some incredibly monumental and intense music from the OST over that scene! Even though I like and respect Erwin a lot I suppose Armin is younger and more innocent, and I'm guessing his friends Eren and Mikasa weren't going to let him be forsaken without a SERIOUS fight.

Haha, I read in a psychology book that if you don't like someone at first but then grow to like them, you like them even more than if you had liked them from the very start! I'm looking forward to seeing some explanations behind Reiner, Bertolt, and Annie's motives. I remember Annie's father giving her some advice like she has to be strong. Thanks for not giving away any spoilers - all I know is what I've seen so far in the anime! Levi is a pretty cool character - I mean he is humanity's strongest soldier after all, and I've had him in my (extra) favourite characters list for a time. He's definitely way better than Eren LOL. I used to like Mikasa a lot, like back in season 1, but she's become too monosyllabic and cold for my liking. Now Erwin is out of it I'd say that Hange and Levi are the two best, most skilled/accomplished, and coolest characters in AOT :D

Promised Neverland - that's one I've only watched subbed so far, but I was gripped and enthralled throughout! It was a slow-burning suspense mystery, and I like how everything was so subtle - like little bumping-ins in the corridor LOL. Also, the subtle hints of menace in Isabella's voice were great. It's a close tie between Norman and Ray for me, but I put Ray in my faves list because he's still alive and I'm rooting for him in the outside world. There's only him and Emma left now! Also, Ray knew the truth before anyone else and had to shoulder the burden for the longest time - completely alone. I loved that OP song Touch Off as well, that used to get me so hyped for the show and the lyrics (translated into English) are really inspiring. Only after what happened to the orphanage did I understand the significance behind them repeating ON FIRE! LOL.

Ah, I see you're not reading The Promised Neverland manga! Are you completely in the dark regarding what's to happen next with this one? I see you have Norman as one of your faves! Why do you like him so much?

My favourite AOT character, there's few that are in close contention! I put Hange on my MAL favourites list because she's the most intellectual female character (IMO) and at the same time she's not afraid of getting her hands dirty, even if it sometimes involves cruel methods - as long as there's a just intention behind it or it's for the good of the cause. She also has a good sense of humour and is quite down to earth - this definitely comes across on the English dub. In the Japanese original Romi Park makes her sound very strong, sharp witted, and formidable.

Out of the male characters I think Erwin Smith is my favourite as he's an inspirational and motivational leader, an eloquent speaker, and is very noble, brave, and principled - and his voice in the English dub (Michael Tatum does an excellent job) portrays these qualities to a tee. It was a difficult and intense decision whether they should save him or Armin!

I noticed you've got Reiner in your faves list! What are the reasons that you like him so much/put him there? Is it another 'swoon'! LOL.

Yeah, I love the shock factor and that's why I wont read the manga for AOT or Promised Neverland until the anime's are fully released. It's so exciting to not have a clue about what's going to happen next, and luckily I've avoided any spoilers.........but you have to be careful if you're on the MAL forums because some people like to go on about the manga this, and the manga that! I see Levi is your favourite character - 'swoon' LOL.

I guess you'll be excited as I am about the final AOT season next year? I wonder if we'll see Annie again before the conclusion! I hope so as I really liked those Lost Girls OVA episodes. There's Promised Neverland to look forward to as well, and I can't wait to see what will happen to the kids in the outside world because I haven't read the manga (yet) so it will all come as a big surprise for me!
