I don't belive in such things, they're just excuses. How's your drawing going?

Death Billiards was good and I read the manga for Ao Haru Ride, that was good too, especially considering the anime left off at an interesting bit. But shoujo manga is so cringy, all the awkward and stupid decision making. ):
I just started Kouko no Hito which is great so far, it's about climbing. I also had a lot of fun reading Mx0 and HajiOtsu. I've also compiled a super long list of plan to read series, not helping myself here.

Small talk is hard sometimes though for anyone, how many times can you say "nice weather out there", even if its to different people, you get bored of it. And some people just don't want to talk either.

It's a common thing to happen, especially when there's so much choice. I drop TV series more than anime for some reason. :l
The Librarians is great because it's really family friendly, a good show with no unnecessary gore and explicit scenes. Is it good? What other sorts of things do you find yourself reading?

Yet another series I purposely avoid. It's good that it fits what you were after though. (:

Well, of course. Even I don't expect myself to write all of the time, it's just that is been more like none of the time for me lately. Although I'm getting back into watching anime, even started reading some manga too. So I'm not fussed that some things are going nowhere, because it's been a while since I really got to that.

I can really identify with that quote. But weirdly enough, in it's own way its a nice feeling too.

A lot of cafes and bakeries are like that these days. We're all too busy for breakfast, even if we're not busy at all. :l
Still enjoying it there?

I've been like that for a while though, there's no rationale behind it and I know that but I still put my foot down. Battlestar Galactica is amazing, it's so tense (in a good way) and you can really relate to the characters. I should probably finish it since I stopped somewhere in season two. Watching the Librarians, one of my current favourites and the Magicians at the moment. I'm also reading the book that it's based on.

Good recommendations? I did, although it honestly wasn't the best outcome. Still had fun though.

Fair enough, good to keep busy with other things.

I finished watching it now and I enjoyed it a lot. Thank you for your recommendation! :D
Svenno Jan 17, 2017 8:58 AM
Hi, thanks for the secret santa recommendation of Akame ga kill. I saw the first episode now and I liked it. The concept is cool, the setting is really dark, which I appreciate, and I enjoyed the animations of the fights. I look forward to continue watching it :D

Anytime!
Whimsical-C Jan 3, 2017 7:47 PM
Yeah, although as I said, I haven't been doing a lot of that lately. I don't believe that. :l

It might seem like it but it's really just ideas and maybes that never really get anywhere and don't last very long. I know that I've always got the opportunity to change but I don't like the idea of going the wrong way and wasting time. But I guess that by taking so long to decide because of that, I am wasting time anyway.

There's heaps of opportunity for that, it might just take you a little longer to get to the end of it. Let me know if you want any future study advice. (:

Do you bake then as well? Milkshake is good, guess it keeps pretty busy then?

I listened to Waterfall but it wasn't really to my taste. I'm getting into J-Rock at the moment (such a weeb, I know) but I tend to prefer quiet if I can get that. Do you flick between artists and genres much?

I want to watch Star Trek and I'm of the opinion that Firefly is too popular so I won't watch it. I love Battlestar Galactica, which I would recommend because it's more about drama than anything else. I actually haven't seen Star Wars believe it or not. I haven't seen a lot of things I should have. Seriously, I live under a rock.

Did you participate in Secret Santa again this year?
Qaz4Hire Dec 30, 2016 9:51 PM
Thanks for the rec! Happy new year! :)
Whimsical-C Dec 20, 2016 5:48 PM
It's always easier to do something when you're doing it for yourself as opposed to obligation. In terms of creative expression I've always been more of a writer than an artist so I think I'll stick with that, not that I've been doing much of that lately either.

That's true sometimes. Although you'll get there a lot faster if you do know.
At the moment I've been entertaining something along the lines of translation but I need to be proficient at another language first. I'm also interested in technical writing but you need experience to get into that.

I'm not really interested in any sort of profession. Is that something you're keeping an eye on?

That's nice. Just at the front serving? Get lots of baked treats to take home?

I just listen to stuff from anime, if anything. Never really been into music that much. I know quite a few people who listen to foreign music though, I think sometimes is nice when you can barely understand everything.

Not really, I've been pretty relaxed lately, watching a lot of TV, I've been really into space themed Sci-Fi recently. I've always found space fascinating, too much physics for a career though!

Cool, sounds like you're getting somewhere. Awesome, you'll have to show me something sometime! I could never draw and it was never something I had patience with either. I took Art and Graphics through school though, always felt quite inferior to my classmates.

About English, other languages. I don't know. I don't know where I am at the moment. :l

I've always though being a nurse would be so interesting and rewarding but I think I'm far too squeamish for that. Can't even stand anime blood sometimes.

I'm taking it easy now, I'll resume the hunt next year. (:

Sorry for the late reply. I sort of just forgot about MAL entirely (nearly missed Secret Santa sign up too). Been up to anything else lately? Any good anime? TV Shows? Games?
Whimsical-C Nov 7, 2016 8:37 PM
That's good. Are they finished up now?

That experience will help you out, sometimes it's better.

Anything interesting?
Fair enough, I get where you're coming from. I'd like to learn a lot more as well.

Any area within health in particular?

Get work is the only thing on my list. I need to figure out where to go from here.
Whimsical-C Oct 26, 2016 4:56 PM
That could have happened whatever way you went. I barely keep in touch with my friends from school, haven't seen most of them since I left.

Yeah, sometimes it's just the study. I've got a friend like that, she takes a lot of time off to work, does a bit, goes on holday etc.
It's not for everyone. At somepoint you really need to be doing the practical side of things.

No, it was just an elective, I've done Science.

That's cool. You should! Self-study might still be studying but you have no obligation with it.

Yeah, the market is just so competitive at the moment. We'll get there eventually.

Any other plans as of yet or do you just want to get into some work?
Whimsical-C Oct 26, 2016 2:09 AM
That's me always, I really feel likeI should be able to explain it.

I think it comes with time. There's always a point when you know you have to be.

Nice to be done?
I can understand that, education has such a high value. I can say, I'd probably have advised you against it, just leaves the doors open. But 'm sure you thought about it and made and informed decision.
I've practically finished univeristy (one assignment left) and I still have no clue. There's always a way though, down the track if you want it in the end.
To be honest, I think as long as you enjoy it, there's nothing wrong with it. You don't need a top job to be happy. Sometimes that makes you unhappy.

No. I'm doing Middle Egyptian which is heiroglyphics but I definitely want to do some languages down the track. I've sort of started Japanese and I'm kind of interested in Welsh as well, we'll see how that goes.

I'll have plenty of that if I don't get a job soon!

So are you working at the moment or just training?
Whimsical-C Oct 3, 2016 10:59 PM
I can get that. Love the SSX snowboarding games and you're literally going down the same slope, thousands of time. So much fun though. I guess the battles/races/competitions generally have different outcomes so there's something to work to.

That's the only thing I've found that works. Getting any better? I think I'm on the decline again. Maybe that's what happens when you're nearly done.

That's good. How long left?
English is great, I took Ancient Egyptian and I honestly really enjoy grammar now. Good teachers always make a massive difference, especially when they're really passionate about what they teach, that definitely helps to get you interested.
I never really had one but I really enjoy languages at the moment.

Still haven't got around to it or any other anime for that matter, soon though, I hope.

All good. I'm like that all the time, as you can see. (:

I wish I could do that but when I'm in the mood for Sports anime, I'm in the mood for Sports anime, not matter how tired I might be of the same predictable structure.

As they say, there's always room to improve but I don't think procrastination is something anyone can really get better at anyway.

Well they're all electives, I hated everything I was doing before but had to do it so I get how you feel. That's good, it's great when you have a subject like that (although you then tend to neglect everything for that). English language or literature?

Nagi no Asukura? Already on my list. Good to know it's worth the watch though, that will probably help me get around to it faster. Although I don't think that will really be anytime soon either.

It's okay, I'll probably be the same until I finish up now, which will be around November-ish.
Whimsical-C Apr 17, 2016 8:09 PM
I don't tend to enjoy psychological much, but mystery is good although I don't tend to watch much since all there seems to be on western TV is some sort of crime drama (that's and exaggeration but there are a lot of them) and I get sick of it.

How have you been? Seen anything good lately?
I've been watching no anime but finding plenty more to add to my plan to watch. Surprisingly much less procrastination than normal. Maybe because I'm taking really interesting subjects this semester.

I told you I'd get around to it eventually...
It’s time to ditch the text file.
