Was reading Strike Witches reviews after watching the show in order to figure out what it was I felt about it and came across your review. Have to say that I didn't make the ace pilot connection you did, though. Can't really say that I enjoyed the show but as a history/aviation/military geek, I certainly enjoyed your review!
