I've kept myself from watching this whole show, and i am indeed happy that atleast i got to watch it in one go after it aired.
The decline in score is crazy to be honest.
Now probably taking in mind you have seen the first season you're jumping in from a massive cliffhanger. The ending of the first season left us in dissaray, where could this go? Well it was obvious that the whole mystery was the new plot for this thing, but what the fuck. Without telling too much the whole season is only but only focused on where we left off in season 1 and

it might be confusing getting into it but it builds up pretty quickly. The whole organization of the episodes changed. Instead of solving a story each episode we were left with fighting scenes and massive cliffhangers which is a lot of the reason why many people disliked it contrary to the first season.
But i mean come on, it's your dopamine receptors not having enough of it if you seriously cannot suddenly handle this season being revolved around a single arc.
So yes in the end it differs a lot from what you have seen in the first season, but it builds a great story and direction where we get to see the end of our protags and be happy and from what we've seen this will be a great 9/10 anime------
That's what i thought to myself first.
You see the second half takes on a shape finally putting all the pieces together and we are finally getting somewhere towards the end, and i'm going to be completely honest, there were moments that made me say that even towards the end there is still alot of cutting corners. BUT THE FUCKING LAST TWO EPISODES. Like come on the sudden turn it gets and finally everything connects it was like a reward for something, i haven't neccessarily found the ending sad as some people did, i was more shocked with how it ended. It build up so much to blow you away and the final scene of the last episode even sets the excitement and pleasure so high considering we will be getting a new season next year. Yes the realization of this is crazy but, the show hasn't even ended. All in all i'm speaking for both seasons in saying that the writing, direction and the ost were one of the best i have ever seen. Please if you've read it this far even if it's only one person that reads this being worried about the decline in rating and the negative reviews, do not let this get to you and build your own opinion. Please trust me if you have the patience and can withstand the amount of information getting into your head this is so worth it and you can get into it with big expectations because this is so worth it.
