It's tough losing a friend. After losing a loved one, it is only natural that we would get depressed over it. AnoHana is about a group of friends that were in a group called the Super Peace Busters. When Menma passed away, the Super Peace Busters slowly grew apart from each other. It is hard to forget a lost one, so we would dwell on our past memories of that certain someone. Today I will be reviewing AnoHana, an anime made by A-1 Pictures and to this day, I feel that this is the best anime they have produced as of now.
Story
The story of AnoHana
...
resolves around our protagonist, Yadomi Jinta, who hasn't attended school since the opening ceremony in the first semester. It is now the second semester and he still hasn't gone to school. Jinta is still depressed over Menma after her death 10 years ago. BUT.......Jinta sees a ghost of Menma that only he himself can see. He questions himself if he's just crazy for hallucinating about Menma. Gradually over time, the Super Peace Busters reunite as they try to resolve their problems regarding the incident of Menma. Overall, I found the story to be consistent and well-paced. Although, there was a problem that I found, which was that it relied a little too much on flashbacks.
Characters
Jinta was my favorite character overall. I found him to be quite relatable. The other characters, Poppo, Anjo, Tsuruko, and Yukiatsu were all developed very well. However at times, I couldn't like Yukiatsu as a character. There was romance between some of the characters, but I found it a little lackluster because it wasn't explained why one of the characters would have feelings for another. A plus for the characters is that I found them to be quite realistic and were interesting.
Sound
There were piano pieces that were there to fit the tone. Some of the background sounds were fairly generic though. An OST that did stand out was "Last Train Home." The voice acting was done well especially when Poppo revealed another side to him and his voice actor portrayed the emotion really well. The OP and END were both really soothing and heart-warming.
Art
The art was good. This artstyle suited this type of anime. There was a nice color to the scenery.
Enjoyment
The story and characters were intriguing. There were some heart-warming moments and there were also some emotional moments which had me crying. I enjoyed this anime from start to end.

If you are watching this, then you'd most likely have seen season 2. If you're interested in this anime, check my review for season 1 first, then make your decision.
Story
It's the same thing OVER AND OVER AGAIN. The sexual jokes most of the time are out of context and aren't even funny.
Art
Production quality was better from the last season, but it really doesn't do anything to improve this anime at all.
Sound
No OST, so I'll discuss the OP and END. The OP was okay. I kinda liked the beat to it, but it's basically the same thing from the last season. Showing about what
...
the anime is about. SEXUAL JOKES. The END is just unpleasing for me to hear. I just didn't like it
Character
Some characters were introduced from the OVA, but they didn't do anything to help this anime. The main cast of characters are still the same and they're pretty much doing the same thing again and again and again.
Enjoyment
This almost put me to sleep. This was just way too boring
Overall
DON'T WATCH THIS. I'm dropping this anime.
Final Verdict- 1/10

Seitokai Yakuindomo is an anime produced by GoHands that aired from July 4, 2010 all the way until September 26,2010.
Tsuda Takatoshi, is our main character. He's about to start his first year at Ousai Academy which had just turned co-ed. Tsuda is now the only male in this school and is suddenly approached by Amakusha Shino, student council president, and is now appointed vice student council president.
Story
What story? It's just sexual joke after sexual joke. I did somewhat find this funny until episode 6 where it just kept getting redundant. They're pretty much doing the same thing over and over again by just using
...
the same type of jokes which most of the time aren't even that funny.
1/10
Art
It's decent for an anime like this and there's really nothing special.
4/10
Sound
There's no OST to really talk about so I'll just talk about the OP and END. The OP is pretty much just showing you how this anime would be like. Sexual jokes everywhere. The OP wasn't really catchy so I didn't really care for it. It did suit this anime though. The END doesn't suit the anime. It's really easy to skip over the OP and END because they're not really memorable and they don't really sound good. This is my personal preference here though.
4/10
Character
Tsuda Takatoshi- Our main character who is really boring and is just a straight man
Hagimura Suzu- The really short girl who is really smart. She has a height complex
Amakusha Shino- Student council president that likes telling perverted jokes
Shichijou Aria- Shino's best friend and is the girl with the boobs. Tends to be like Shino where she also likes telling perverted jokes
2/10
Enjoyment
I somewhat enjoyed the first 6 episodes, then I got really bored. Jokes get to redundant and the only thing this anime has, is just sexual perverted jokes and that's all.
3/10
Overall
If you have a dirty mind and like dirty jokes, then you'll like this show. Otherwise, I'd advise you to just stay away from this anime.

Are you looking for an amazing anime? Then you're looking in the right place. I'm going to be reviewing Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin. Rainbow is an anime from Madhouse which aired in 2010.
The setting is set after World War II. Seven teenagers are sent to a reformatory where they are confined. In this confined reformatory, these people are always treated horribly. But during these dark times, there is a small ray of hope.
Story
The story is a really serious and mature story. Rainbow is a really depressing, tear-jerker story. Rainbow is a anime that teaches us about true brotherhood. This was such a
...
beautiful story. Although there were a few unanswered questions. The unanswered questions doesn't really take away from the story though.
9/10
Art
The art was just beautiful. Madhouse did a great job presenting the sad and gloomy atmosphere. Especially when the narrator is narrating. The art during those scenes are just so beautiful.
10/10
Sound
The soundtrack was also just beautiful. The background music suited the anime quite well. A certain piece of the soundtrack that I just love is the opening, "We're not alone". The opening was just addicting and it fit the anime quite well with it's tone and lyrics
"There's a place inside this world.. where hopes and dreams will not be lost"
Characters
There was a diverse set of characters. They were each unique with their own separate personailities. They each got a backstory except for one of the characters. I had a lot of respect for these characters.
9/10
Enjoyment
As soon as I started Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin, I knew I was going to love it. When I finished it, I just said to myself, "This is it. The type of anime that I was looking for". I haven't seen an anime as amazing as Rainbow and will definitely take my #1 spot for a really long time.
10/10
FINAL VERDICT: 9.6/10
Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin had such a beautiful story with it's great set of characters, soundtrack and it's art.

Claymore is an anime made by studio Madhouse in 2007. In this anime, there are female warriors known as "Silver-Eyed Witches" or "Claymores" who fight these monsters known as Yoma. These claymores are always alienated by people as basically "monsters that kill monsters". This story starts off with Raki losing what's precious to him. He meets Clare, another one of our main characters.
Story
The story was really weak. It started off really simple and pretty much stayed that way. Around the last 5 episodes, it felt as it was being dragged out. One of the main characters ruined this show for me. The story could have
...
been better. With such a weak story, I was really bored with this anime.
3/10
Art
It was really nothing special, but Claymore had some of the high-quality animation that Madhouse had to offer.
6/10
Sound
I always skipped the OP and END because it didn't really appeal to me. I didn't really care for the background music either. It didn't really do anything for Claymore.
3/10
Characters
Now here is one of the reasons why the story got a 3. First off, we have Clare. She is one of these Claymores. She was hated by the people of society being a Claymore. Clare does get some development as to how and why she became a Claymore. Clare was really the only major character that seemed interesting. We also have another character named Raki. Raki was so annoying, I just wanted him to shut up. He just kept crying and crying. He was such a useless character, he didn't even do shit. Raki said that he was going to get stronger to protect Clare, but guess what? HE DOESN'T DO SHIT. He was such a crybaby. Raki really ruined this anime.
3/10
Enjoyment
I was really bored with Claymore. I kept hearing that it was good, but I was just really disappointed. The characters and story definitely could've been better
2/10
FINAL VERDICT: 3.4/10
Claymore is actually an underrated anime, but I believe that it's just an overrated anime that is underrated
^
Some might be confused with this statement, so let me make this clear. Claymore's anime isn't really that well known, but to the people that have seen it, all I have seen/heard is that Claymore is good. I don't really think it's good. It deserves this underrated status
