Both Blood Lad and Ao no Exorcist are centered around the protagonists interactions with various spiritual and mythical creatures. Each series has its own special way of showing off the power of the main character and both have a similar pace of showing the main story line throughout the anime. Both main characters have a very similar sense of humor and makes for an enjoyable mixture of action, comedy and supernatural.

...then you might like Shingeki no Kyojin add

Shingeki no Kyojin is an anime about one individual battling against the odds and an extreme environment to survive and rescue others from harm. It also questions the fundamentals of humanity's value of life and death as well as pushing the main characters values too there limit. Btooom! also has these aspects i in-bedded in their creation and both throw a lot of horror and gore at you along the way. Action occurs throughout both anime and both protagonists have that flare for survival that we always enjoy. I went into both series not expecting very much since I am not a fan of the horror genre but came out of each episode wanting to see the next desperately.
