I didn't really like the part with Mello and Near... but the ending with Matsuda shooting Light was pretty cool I guess xD
I haven't seen Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood myself yet, but I'm going to watch the regular Fullmetal Alchemist first.
Maybe there is going to be a part of the story unclear in Brotherhood because you haven't seen the earlier part... (Don't want that to happen)
I've also heard a lot of good comments on it so I'm probably going to watch it when I'm done with the anime that I'm currently watching.
