It is incredibly difficult to put to words how good Back Arrow is despite everything that might make you think otherwise.
I said on day 1 (you can still check the disqus discussion on SubsPlease, its like the very first comment) that this show was going to be AotS. Now I was not correct when I said it would be AotS (but in my defense I was not aware Mushoku Tensei was also airing at the time) however the show is still really good, way better than it has any right to be.

fan or a big Mecha Anime Fan you will LOVE Back Arrow, because its OldSchool Episodic Mecha Anime that introduces new characters and plot events every other episode.

That said if you are a Zoomer or a Normie with ADHD who only consumes seasonal anime you are probably going to have a melty halfway through the show and drop it.
The entire show is narratively driven, its all about one goal that was explained in the very first episode, but everyone watching this show turned off their brains and wasn't paying attention because the robots weren't punching each other which has resulted in a lot of people seething saying the the show is dumb and doesn't have direction.
The Main Character has Amnesia and has a special power that allows him to not kill people, he teams up with 400 IQ memelord named Shu-Bi and goes on a grand adventure with town full of country bumkins who just want to be left alone. There are giant robots, giant battleships, transforming robots, and a Slaanesh Temple run by a character who looks like Charlie Kirk. This show is wild and I love it

why is this review so short? Because no spoilers allowed and I'm not going to try and rewrite a plot synopsis because that is a great big waste of time and would simply just be a way to bloat the character count for this review.
I give this show a 10 outa 10 because it is the first Original Mecha Anime not done by Sunrise in last decade that isn't a steaming trashfire.
If you are big Mecha Anime fan you will spot every plot twist coming a mile away but when it happens you will still be shocked that it happened.
