The first thing that came into my mind when I first heard about D Gray Man in "boring" and I thought it's like the "typical" shounen anime but well yeah it is. The anime is set in somewhere in 19th century with an action, never ending battles and love interest.
I'm not going to write a summary of the whole story here since they already put it up there.
The story line and the plot is really good. It's not like the other shounen anime that only have fighting and love scene through out the whole anime, It have funny scenes in there that can

actually make you laugh out loud.
I was err amazed(?) and interested throughout the whole anime, thinking about what will happen next, I was just a bit disappointed at the end of the anime. D Gray Man is like some of the anime that is already completed but its not, :/ bare with me here. there is something wrong with the end, it's like a cliff hanger. I'm not satisfied at all. I want more. I want to know what happened next after episode 103. i just wish they will make another season of D Gray Man.
I have nothing against the characters. The characters are awesome! There's a mysterious atmosphere hanging around each of the characters. We don't know them that much but you grow to love them as you continue to watch the anime. The antagonists are just awesome. They are not that evil but they are evil. Best words to describe them is the word Sadist. They love to play around with people's mind and feelings and that's what I love in every anime villains. The main guys, Allen is also awesome, he's funny and he's not like one of those annoying main dude. I don't know how to describe it but as I said before you just grow to love them good or bad characters as you watch the anime. not to mean that they are all hawwwt! LOL jks. and plus its really hard to hate any of the characters except the Hitler looking dude (well its my opinion) I really disliked him. you will probably know what when you watch the anime. :)
I have nothing to say about the art of D Gray Man, well to be honest I started watching D Gray man because of it's art. It's good, well drawn and the characters are hot :P
The sound is alright, I don't really pay attention to the opening or closing songs of any anime so I got nothing to say for this as well. kinda boring but its alright.
I really enjoyed watching this anime, the anime has a fun flavor and I guess thats what make it different compare to any other shounen anime. I'm not really into gory, bloody and ecchi anime so I really enjoyed watching this anime.
Overall I can't say that D Gray Man is one of the "best" anime I've watched so far but It's a really fun anime to watch. The only thing that I am not satisfied with this anime is the last episode and I want to know more about the characters. It's such a cliff hanger. I guess I should just stick to the manga. but yeah. as I've said before. Its a good anime to watch :) 8/10
