You guessed it, I suck at introducing myself, even more so if I come close to trying to say something interesting about me, but I'll tell you this: I have four dogs who are real dummy dum dums. My native language is not english, so excuse it's ingrained (but hopefully transitory) sloppiness, but writing reviews (and this shitty intro) is good practice. I also write my own stuff on the side lines, hopefully I'll put the time to share it at some point.
You may have come to the conclusion that I don't watch that much anime compared to other profiles, my "To-watch list" is always, and will always be, the one with the highest numbers; and that's because it's the same way in any other art form I like, and I like a lot of them. Wish I'd knew more about painting or architecture, but you know, can't appreciate every single art piece in the world. Anyhow, most of my favorite art piece of all time are anime, which I still can't really fathom, hope I begin to understand it the more I move in these medium and the more I write.
So, if you wanna say hi, feel free to do so, or, if you wish to judge my anime criteria from the shadows and say not a word to me, that is also a valid option, both approaches are fine by me. Alright, have a good one.
10 - A work of art that did things to me emotionally that are even unfathomable to me. It most likely juggles with a lot of elements and still makes it work, or it juggles with few of them in such a masterful manner that it makes the most simple narratives feel refreshing and astonishin; in the end, I'm just trying to say with big words that it gave a precious treatment to all the themes it introduced. The level of detail did nothing but empower what the piece as a whole was trying to convey, and gave things for the audience to pick up: rewarding their attention. Although it had flaws, like any other thing realted to humans, they were barely noticeable or just didn't bother me at all. Might be a gem in it's genre, might not be, probably is, I don't know, leave me alone okay?
9 - Big entertainment on this one, it kept me hooked from beginning to end, with a solid message within itself. Although it posessed outstanding factors to it, it still had an specific flaw or a missing factor that kept it from going the extra mile in excellence, in MY definition of exellence, which is right above this thing; it's lurking, and it's making this 9 feel like shit. Nice.
8 - Really engaging work of art, with various things that made it entertaining and even unique at parts. It wasn't able to reach that 'outstanding and consistent' mark; could have been that it didn't explore it's own potential or it did but it's potential wasn't all that high to begin with. I tend to give this rate to works of art with a lot of potential who just played it safe or took risks and failed, or maybe are just really fun and do everything right but, at the same time, it's never gonna go above that, like some other works of art can.
7 - I enjoyed the experience, wasn't that exciting, but it never got me bored enough to consider quiting. Maybe it just didn't have anything unique or refreshing, maybe it had too many noticeable flaws, maybe the premise wasn't all that exciting. Does anyone even read this?
6 - Not boring, not exciting, could be either a generic story, characters with no personality, plot holes, lazy art style. Didin't impress me, but there was something that kept me watching. Potential maybe? Butts maybe? That will be for god to decipher.
5 -It was generic to the point it got boring, the only reason I kept watching was too see if it was going somewhere, but got disappointed as it never happened and just made me wish I had quit watching when I had the chance.
4 - Wasn't really going anywhere from beginning to end, generic dialogues, generic story, generic character, there were probably boobs somewhere trying to get my interest.
3 - Shit with pineapple scent
2 - Shit
1 - Shit that leaves a stain in your car that you can taste every single time your inside of it
