Naruto is a very solid series, with good characters, well diverse and interesting background motivations. Overall to me this is a story of friendship, and the main friendship is that of Naruto and Sasuke, and of the trials in life that bring change and growth, and how that effects these characters. All the characters in this manga go through an evolution either reflected in the past or shown through the events in the story. I enjoy this manga for what its worth, it starts out strong with some enjoyable characters and a fun main plot that keeps twisting throughout. Character development is pretty weak with the main group not growing much to speak of, they are really the same in the end as at the beginning. It helps that the side characters are added though out to around the 16th volume or so and keeps the story fresh feeling. The middle volumes of the series feels like the author was deciding where to take the story and filled in some volumes with filler short ... |
