Of all the manga and anime I have ever watched, none of them have ever touched my heart the way that Mob Psycho 100 has. There is just so much about this series that stands out from other anime genres, and this season is just another example of what makes Mob Psycho 100 so special in my heart.
The first two seasons of Mob Psycho 100 each had their place in both defining Mob's character and showing the ways in which he was slowly growing and developing as he faced new challenges in his life. The other characters only served to further enhance that experience and

make the journey all the more satisfying to watch. But this season continued to develop Mob and address all of his flaws and shortcomings that he had yet to face in the previous seasons. So I'll just give a short rundown of all the aspects of this season that cement Mob Psycho 100 as a masterpiece.
Art - As expected, the art of this season was absolutely amazing. The way in which they managed to make such a fluid design for the characters and setting was incredibly appealing. Not only that, but they added several new scenes to the story that only served to enhance the plot and make me even more enthralled with the battles and the dialogue that went on.
Music - The music was excellently selected. There were several new OSTs, in addition to some of the OSTs from the previous seasons which served as both amazing callbacks and enhancers for the scenes that played out.
Plot- The plot is amazing. It follows up on the previous season's cliffhanger regarding the giant broccoli that had sprouted during the battle with Toichiro. What's more, it followed up on Dimple, who had been sitting on the siedlines and plotting for most of the season thus far. We'd never really gotten to see how Dimple was feeling and how he was going to continue pursuing his plan of godhood, but the Divine Tree arc followed up on that side-plot amazingly. Not only that, but the Telepathy Club arc addressed the status of the Telepathy Club and its president, who'd similarly not done much besides giving Mob some support and asking him for help on occasion. And then, the ??? arc helped bring all of the main espers and characters into the forefront while similarly bringing back one of the main plots of the series: Mob's feelings for Tsubomi. The end of the series wrapped up almost everything in a perfect bow thanks to the masterfully woven plot, and I cannot complain whatsoever.
Characters- Perhaps the most amazing part about the season and the series in general. This season made sure not to skip a beat on developing all of the characters thoroughly. As already mentioned, each arc was pivotal in addressing the inner conflicts and personal thoughts of the main characters and even some side characters. Each of those characters were vital in changing Mob and realizing important things about himself. In the Divine Tree arc, Dimple was finally faced with the truth about his ambitions and whether it was all he really wanted out of life. At the same time, Dimple helped Mob realize that he'd been taking Dimple's advice and friendship for granted, and it was thanks to Dimple expressing his honest opinion that Mob made this realization. In the Telepathy Club arc, Tome was finally given more development, and her fellow club members also came to the realization that they ignored how meaningful Tome's dream of contacting alien life really was. Once again, Mob was there to help Tome realize her dream while also coming to value the members of the Telepathy Club as friends even though he's mostly ignored them in the previous seasons. Then, in the ??? arc, Mob's most important development came: the acceptance of his powers and the possibility of rejection. And the manner in which he achieved this character realization was done thanks to the efforts of everyone that Mob himself had changed: Hanazawa, Ritsu, Toichiro, the Body Improvement club, and most importantly, Reigen. Each of their battles with him cemented their character development throughout the series and showed how much each of them had grown from the people they were thanks to Mob's influence. This is something that few other anime have been capable of matching.
Enjoyment: Every week, I waited in anticipation for these episodes to come out, and every week I was never disappointed by the content that was released.
Overall Verdict: I cannot overstate how much I love this series. It has always stood out to me because of the most important lessons that are repeatedly hammered throughout the story: you're no better than everyone else because of your powers, and when times are tough, it's always important to be kind. In every situation, in every dark turn that Shigeo faced, he always chose to respond with kindness and to remember the words that his master told him when they first met. This final season continued to show how unbelievably powerful Mob's kindness really was, and that kindness was paid back in full by his friends and his master when he needed them. I will truly miss this series, and I believe no other can surpass it in thoughtfulness and kindness.
