"Believe in me."
I don't wanna piss anybody off, so I'm starting right off the bat by saying this is MY PERSONAL OPINION. (My 3rd review as well)
Guilty Crown is my new favorite anime. That might be because I haven't seen too many titles yet, as I have only started watching this year, but it's just like that. So why did I rate it a 7 when I've rated other anime higher?
I'll say that it appealed to me. There are a lot of emotions conveyed in this show, which I think were executed pretty well. I was sad at times that were sad, I was excited
...
at times there was excitement, and so on. Let's get into the details though:
Story (7): Hmm, I'd say that the story has a lot of stuff packed into it. This 'Apocalypse Virus' during the time called 'Lost Christmas' is cool, although I don't really know why it's called 'Apocalypse', since it didn't seem to have that much of an effect on society.
There is also a few plot holes in the history of certain people and organizations, so I think this was the most major downside to the show. It had a lot of potential to fill in the story.
Art (9): My favorite part of the show. The art style of acquiring a Void from someone, it looked really cool lol. I think the action parts (being a lot) could've had some more variety to it, but it looked really nice. And 22 episodes too! It must've taken ages lol.
Sound (9): The soundtrack was actually was amazing. I think it added a better touch to emotional parts when played during the show, cuz I would get goosebumps.
Character (7): I would say that the characters were quite a mess. Everyone had mixed up feelings, so it was difficult for me to really 'relate' and understand them as they go on. Even the main character, who seemed to have been a bit all over the place, but can you blame him? He's been through a lot.
Enjoyment (7): I can't really elaborate on this part. There were some parts that annoyed me cuz they didn't go the way I wanted them to, so there's that. You can't blame me for that, I'm sure you've done the same. But some of the action in there was actually really awesome, so I enjoyed it enough.
Overall (7): Here's my full answer to the earlier question.
Being an anime that has plot holes and different mixed feelings and such, it seems a bit difficult to explain why this is my favorite anime. To me, the buildup to the end was worth the wait, the animation was really good, the slight fan service here and there is always nice, and the way it flowed was good too. I guess I am a fan of Super Power/Sci-Fi. I recommend this for anyone who read the above and is ok with plot holes lol.
I love you Inori :(

Wow. This is only my 2nd review, but honestly? I'm glad that I'm more experienced in giving my own opinion, and for this anime too. DISCLAIMER: THIS IS MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION.
Trying not to spoil much, Kokoro Connect is about 5 friends who are affected by a supernatural being named Heartseed, and they have to go through various phenomena that affect their daily life. Will they be able to overcome the problems they face throughout these phenomena, or will their relationship fall apart?
(Just a tiny summary, don't remove my review pls lol)
On to the categories:
Story (9): It's one of those ratings where you
...
want to give it a 10 but for some reason you feel like you shouldn't. The story develops at a steady pace, giving information about every character, and is able to not leave any holes in the plot. Honestly, this supernatural type of thing is my favorite type of concept, so this anime reminded me of 'Seishun Buta Yaro' or 'Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai', which is one of my personal favorites. I enjoyed the different phenomena concepts, and how the story was able to emphasize other peoples feelings about it.
Art (10): Not much to say here, the art seemed perfectly fine to me! I liked the character art, and the animations seemed fluid and non-jittery.
Sound (9): Quite realistic, actually! Not much to say about this either, it seemed fine to me. The OP music was also nice.
Character (10): The anime did a good job at giving everyone a voice/their own story that it went through to develop. Every character (the main ones, at least) each had their own problem(s) that were affected by these phenomena. I think the development of the characters was smooth and I could understand each person well.
Enjoyment (9): The comedy was quite nice! It came in at times I didn't expect, which I can always appreciate, and it got a few laughs out of me.
Overall (9): I can't think of a reason why I didn't give it a 10, but here's an overall statement.
Kokoro Connect is a heartwarming story that involves the personal problems of one friend becoming problems for the other friends, thanks to the supernatural phenomena. It is able to develop these problems thoroughly, and show cheerfulness, but also despair. I really liked it. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys the concept of supernatural phenomena, and some romance. Make sure to watch the 4 extra episodes that were made afterwards too, they're good as well. :)

This is my first review: Alright, here's what I have to say. I'm not exactly a master of Anime and I don't know what should've or shouldn't have been on this anime. Here's my personal opinion though:
I won't say I liked it, but I didn't NOT like it. The action was alright for me, not too much unnecessary talking between the fighters that takes up half the episode. It flowed well and there were some pretty unexpected moments. (no spoilers)
Story (3)- Story was the biggest problem for me. I appreciate the fact that right from the start, they tell us that there is no
...
explanation for the existence of spirits. (this isn't a spoiler right? lol sorry I'm kind of insecure about whether I'm telling a spoiler or not) I'm guessing they used the cute girls as a cover-up for the lack of plot, but it didn't really work for me. I just hope the story will be more clear after I watch the next season.
Art (7) - I am honestly clueless when it comes to the art styles. So I just rated it based on what I thought. No hate plz.
Sound (6) - If the music counts as sound, it was great. The opening music is honestly really nice, but I'm not a fan of the credits music. The sound design is fine, sounds like any other sound design when there's action in an anime, loud cracking and the ground being blown to bits.
Character (5) - I'm not spoiling, I'm saying this in case you don't want to watch something like this. The characters come on strong on first appearances and show good relationships, but afterwards they kind of die down. I guess that's what happens in Harem anime's, the balancing gets difficult? idk.
Enjoyment (7) - The comedy was light, but it was fun. It got a few laughs out of me, and I don't laugh at those "walk in at the wrong time" moments, I usually facepalm, but this anime had a bit more variety, which I can appreciate.
Overall (6) - Overall, I thought that the anime had potential. It seems to other people that it's a 'hate it or love it' type of anime, but I thought it was okay. If there was more story in this, the overall could've probably went to a 7, maybe even an 8, but, not much we can do about yeah? Honestly, I'm willing to give it another chance and watch the 2nd season, I'll be watching it right now, thanks for reading :)
