Clannad: Another World, Tomoyo arc

This is what happens when Clannad actually has direction, or when the story is going somewhere, it can truly become great or even a masterpiece. The story is about Tomoya (If you don't know who he is, why are you even here?), a highschool student labelled as a delinquent and a trial of his romance with Sakagami Tomoyo. The problem with the original Clannad was that some mechanisms didn't work and they adapted all of the worse routes in an attempt to get the audience hooked (I mean seriously, how do you waste 9 episodes on Fuko's arc?).

Clannad, a story about a boy meeting several girls and helping them with their problems.
Story: 4 Well, the problem of story stems from the fact that Clannad is a VN adaptation (VN adaptations can be done well, I have nothing against them, examples of them being done well are: Higurashi no naku koro ni, Fate/stay night UBW.) Thus as it is an entire 23 episodes, it adapts various romantic plotlines in the show's runtime from the VN. There is no real overarching storyline and it just goes from one plot to another, and the romantic interest of the previous arc becomes the MC's 'friend.' This is ...

This is my first review, so I have no real experience reviewing.
After watching the original series, I wasn't really satisfied with the ending at all. I understand that Redial is just pure fanservice for those who weren't really satisfied, but in a lot of cases it didn't really work out very well, they added beach scenes which weren't really needed. I didn't find and of the humor really funny in the first half of Redial and it didn't feel necessary, since the original series was never really meant to be funny at all so the humour used felt misplaced.
