I'd tried very hard to watch this anime several times, never making it past the first episode. That is a mistake! This anime is packed full of symbolism and the story is very well written. It may be full of gore and nudity, yes, but even they have a huge purpose as a whole. It isn't just for the sake of gore and nudity. Generally, in art, nudity can be used to represent wickedness or innocence... Both examples are very prominent here. So for those who were as put-off as I was, give it a chance. You wont regret it.
