The show as a whole is okay, but the story feels kind of lacking. It almost feels like it couldn't decide if it wanted to be an isekai, a romance anime, a harem anime or an ecchi and ended up kind of but not really being all at once, and not in a good way. I can only hope that the light novel is better, because I would be really dissapointed. I want to like the show, but I just can't.
There are a lot of strange unexplained events that seem really off, and there's practically no character development at all. The romance feels like it ... came out of nowhere and all the girls, which by the way feel really shallow, immediately love the protagonist and trust him without question.
I personally feel like the story could have been longer and could have been made in a way that made more sense.

The show doesn't really have much fanservice (in terms of quantity), but when it decides to include some, they go all out. There's a scene where one girl is completely naked, but that's pretty much all the fanservice in the entire series.

The characters are really shallow, and additionally the protagonist has random super concrete knowledge on seemingly random things. It seems he just happens to know the entire periodic table by heart, including all the specific characteristics of each element, but it isn't a constant theme. He suddenly is an expert on the subject when he needs to, but then doesn't know more than a regular everyday person when he doesn't. It's just inconsistent

The animation is ok, although they could have made better use of 3D animation. They use it for unimportant shots, but somehow it always ends up looking weird.

It's an okay watch if you're bored and have nothing else to watch, but I would personally recommend you watch something else. If you're really interested in the story, I would tell you to go read the light novel, which I can only hope is better.

The tamagoyaki tip in episode 6 is REALLY GOOD. If you know how to make tamagoyaki and have umeboshi available, you should definately try it. The tamagoyaki dulls the umeboshi flavour a little and makes it less dominant, and when you mix it with mayonnaise, the umeboshi flavour combines with the mayonaise REALLY WELL. I swear, as of writing this, it's been the best tamagoyaki that I've ever had (although I must admit that all the tamagoyakis I've had have been home-made by me and even so I haven't had that many), and in my opinion, this anime is good just for giving me free ... cooking knowledge.

The anime is also pretty good. The story is pretty good aswell. I like the fact that there are two coexisting storylines that might intertwine in the future. Both storylines are pretty good, and the anime doesn't stick to the classical isekai structure, since it's not the protagonist being forced into going to another world. It's sort of a reverse-isekai, but since Sasaki gets to go to another world, it's not fully reverse-isekai. I also like how Sasaki is somewhat opportunistic, as he transfers goods from both worlds for monetary gain, which most people in his position would also do. But he does it with respect to both worlds and purposefully avoids harming them, and infact helps both.

The animation overall is okay. It could be better, but also much worse. The combat scenes leave a little to be desired, and there are some oddly animated scenes, but it isn't too bad if you focus on the storyline.

In my opinion, the show is worth watching (especially because of the tamagoyaki tip), and I'm liking it so far. So if you like isekai and anime like One Punch Man, and especially if you're interested in learning how to make your tamagoyaki better, I would recomment you give it a try.
