An interesting take on Mr. & Mrs. Smith-style stories. The daughter, Anya, is the one who really drives the story. Her interactions with the cast are a delight to watch, and I always look forward to how she will nudge those around her into performing actions. She really is a child puppetmaster.

The "father" and "mother" are also superb, and make wonderful tsunderes. They are also quite competent.

I really enjoy how even mundane activities are transformed into amazing action spectacles. The authors are really good at writing and drawing action sequences.

In sum, this manga has a great mix of action, romance, comedy, and family themes. I read more

The world is the most interesting part of the work - it is described well, but never in a manner which feels like an infodump. The author describes the sky world just enough to make you curious, making the standard "hero's journey' trope interesting.

The characters are also well-done. Their relationship with each other is portrayed in a somewhat unrealistic manner, but never enough to put me off. I feel like it's a romance which could almost happen in reality.

Additionally, characters develop naturally, and character's issues never feel like the standard "angst".

All-in-all, I am looking forward to seeing more of the world and the characters as read more

A fun take on Japanese mythology. If you like romance, you will like this series. It's quite heavy on it.

I liked it because even though the romance was corny a lot of the time, it always felt genuine. It was nice to see the progression in romance between the two main characters.

The art was good. Not amazing, but good.

You might get annoyed with the male lead sometimes, but he's usually fine.

The humour in this series is also pretty good. I laughed quite often.

Overall, while I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, it is definitely worth reading. If you like light-hearted romantic comedies, you'll enjoy this.

I loved the idea of science and religion battling it out for control of the world - it was a unique idea which I hadn't seen before. The plots were easy to follow, and the characters were interesting. My only gripe is that the side characters were, in many instances, far more interesting than the main character. The main character, Touma, seems to win a lot of his battles with his overpowered ability, his insane luck, and the help of other characters. It did not detract too much from my enjoyment of the anime, however.
